Cozy little restaurant with a 1.5-hour dining limit. The menu featured a selection of Chinese and Japanese dishes, all well-prepared. My favorite dishes were the double-fried hamachi collar and the tuna Rangoon, both of which were incredibly flavorful. A great spot for a satisfying meal with a blend of Asian flavors.

A perfect date night or girls night restaurant! Luvi is a colorful, petite spot with excellent food and kind service. My mom and I shared the Feed Me and each dish was fresh, light and delicious perfectly paired with the wine. After that, we shared the Spicy Dan Dan Noodles. The broth was so flavorful and warm! To finish, we tried their ice cream trio, and like the rest of the dishes, were perfectly paired and full of aromatics and flavor without being overbearingly sweet. I look forward to returning and trying more of their dishes! Whole meal no tip was about $70 per person (including alcohol)

Don't get the bam bam chicken, everything else is good.

It’s a beautiful little restaurant with the best, freshest fish you will ever taste. I’m usually into more American sushi menus with fried rolls and stuff, this is not that kind of sushi! This is high quality sashimi with unique flavors. Just spend the money and get the $60 “FEED ME” for an array of glorious sashimi dishes that totally left me full. It’s so worth it. The fish melts in your mouth and it’s covered in various sauces and caviar that are just delicious. The waitresses and Chef were so sweet to me and the food was prompt. Also the coconut milk cocktail was out of this world, I could drink giant glasses full.

Simply amazing, with flavor combinations you won't expect! Get ready to have your mind blown, must try the Snap Crackle and Monkey Snack. The Bento is also a high recommendation, with enough for 2 people <3

Was so excited to eat here- was my last night in town and I went at 8:30pm (said they closed at 9) and they wouldn’t serve me anymore. Such a bummer. Rarely do restaurants turn you away with 30 minutes remaining open. :(

Luvi was great! I had the Mr. Miyagi cocktail which was excellent! All the dishes were delicious. We had the yellowtail (outstanding) and tuna (excellent) sashimi and smashed cucumbers to start. We then had the bam bam chicken which was great and halibut cheeks which were "insane" per my wife. The curry dumplings were fantastic as well. Service was super efficient and everyone was incredibly nice and super hip. Overall a great experience. Would def return!

We came in at our reserved time. We all ordered a martini and the only vodka they had was Tttos. They had a hard time making dirty martinis. Then we ordered starters and the chef's special at $90 per box. The chef's box came out before the starters because it had clearly been prepared before. It had 9 squares of a tiny bit of food not nearly worth $10 per square. It was a total ripoff. Between drinks and service and food, it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. It was expensive by California standards. Not worth the trip down Tchoupitoulas for anyone. Do not go there.

I think Luvi is something special. They really make some innovative dishes. Somehow, they figured out how to make salmon and bananas go together. I don't know why it works, but the monkey snack just works. The eel bowl and the vegan hot splash noodles were delicious. The eel was perfectly cook; it was so soft and the texture was just right. Do try the noodles as well. The hot splash noodles were packed with flavor. Lastly, the cocktails held their own in the New Orleans arena. My person favorite was the whiskey with the sour plum rim.
