One of my go-to spots for dumplings and sushi in NOLA! The vibe is laid-back with eye-catching decor that adds to the charm. It’s a small space, so I highly recommend making a reservation if you don’t want to wait.
To start, we ordered the Paloma and lychee cocktails, both refreshing and perfectly balanced. We also tried the Monkey Snack and Stoplight rolls. If you’re into bold, complex flavor profiles, the Monkey Snack is a must. Sweet, tangy, and packed with flavor—it hits every note. The Stoplight roll brings just the right amount of heat thanks to the jalapeños, and the fish is incredibly fresh.
But the real star for me? The curried dumpling broth. I seriously dream about it when I’m not in NOLA. It’s so rich and flavorful that I almost finish the broth before touching the dumplings. Absolute comfort in a bowl.
The tuna rangoons weren’t my favorite, but still a solid dish.
Overall, a staple spot for me anytime I’m in town. Consistently delicious with creative dishes that leave a lasting impression.

NOLA is full of unique little outta the way restaurants, each with their own take on a theme. With LUVI a Japanese Asian Fusion thing. Quite good. It's a pretty tiny place, tables close together... too close in our case, with a loud talker as a third person on the opposite side of a two-top directly facing us. Shoulda put them at a 4-top elsewhere, not directly facing us.

We had a great experience from the cocktails/mocktails and food to our great service from Tony. We tried all 4 raw bar dishes—the Snap Crackle Pop was my favorite. Tried a bunch of other dishes and each one was amazing. My other favorites were the Hot Splash Noodles and the Barbecue Eel Rice. Can’t go wrong here!

Absolutely wonderful!! My wife and I each indulged in the Feed Me, a beautiful selection of fresh fish curated by the Chef. Each bite was a just of freshness and flavor! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
