We visited the cafe several times during our stay, because our lodging was nearby. The food was terrific, especially the grits, but what set them apart was the staff and management. On our way home, we had checked out of our rooms and inadvertently locked ourselves out of the lobby. The manager kindly allowed us in for a much needed pit stop and refuel, during a time when the restaurant was not operating. As a result, our family had a much relieved and more pleasant trip to the airport. The food almost everywhere in New Orleans is incredible, as are the surroundings, but the warmth and atmosphere of the Cafe Luzianne, made it stand out among all others.

Nothing but an upscale McDonalds….. hash browns used are frozen patties, eggs are your traditional Buffett style, grits are sour-tasting….. overall not my idea of a southern breakfast. The waffle was a 3 out of 5, the only thing I semi-enjoyed

Shrimp po boy is super basic. Fried chicken sandwich is coated in a very vinegar forward bbq sauce that wasn't good at all, one note. Sides do not come with either, way to expensive for these lackluster plates.

Great food, service was ok. Counter lady handing out drinks was rude and a smart ass to everyone coming up to pick up their drinks. Clean and sanitary.

This was a good breakfast option close to our hotel. We got the omelet with shrimp in it (good) & the boudin Benedict. The boudin wasn't very good. The hollandaise was unique. They also serve chicory coffee if you're into that.

Great for breakfast selection and brunch. Grits were out of this world. Nice atmosphere and wasn't crowded. Even has a cute little store where you can buy some signature mugs and spices.
