Everything is good but why does it take 25 minutes to make an arepa?

This is the best restaurant in New Orleans! Every dish we had was incredible. Dont leave this city without trying out Mais! You’d be doing yourself a disservice.

Food is great!!! I strongly recommed the Bandeja Paisa and the different types of arepas. The selection of cocktails is incredible too. Last but not least, staff are great!!! Wonderful and helpful people who are willing to provide the best service!!!

Mini arepas are okay, it's cool getting to try different flavors in a plate. The steak would have been better if there is rice. Seasoning is normal.

Well, I came from a trip to New Orleans and I thought it would be decent food because I'm Creole but it doesn't taste like Colombian food.1) EVERYTHING IS HOT, in Colombia the most that is hot is the chili for the empanadas, on the paisa tray the chorizo is hot, the beans are hot, the BBQ ribs are hot even without the sauce.2) A HAIR, in the salad on the paisa tray I got a hair, it is a lack of cleanliness but what can you expect from a place where the bathroom is right where people are eating, it seems to me that it is a lack of hygiene, apart from If you can notice the staff in the kitchen with their hands without gloves ?.3) The Honduran waiter, VERY GOOD, the guy is super friendly but when he is a little busy and the rest of the staff act crazy.4) Lack of variety, the menu is too short and there are not even portions.5) THE SOUP WAS TERRIFY, I am a chef and they only put that soup frozen on the plate and thawed it or poured it with water, it lacked cooking, and it also caused indigestion!!! Everything caused HORRIBLE DAMAGE.I insist that people who say that it is a good Colombian restaurant is because they DO NOT know about Colombian food, it does not have any Colombian seasoning, the arepas are simply from Venezuela, better look for other options.
Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff, great food. We ate here twice while visiting New Orleans.

The food was delicious, each item of the sampler was just as good, all with amazing flavor. Their sangria is also some of the best I've had.The wait staff was very helpful and attentive and we will most definitely be back on our next day trip , as we cant wait to try some other items.

So I stuck my proverbial foot in my mouth. Went down there in a group of friends for a friend's birthday. I wanted to get the authentic NOLA experience. It was a little upset. We were going to a Colombian restaurant. But I was completely f****** blown away. But I mentioned the words f****** blown away. The appetizer and Mexican style elote made Creole in Colombian style was the best I've ever had completely blows Mexican corn out of the water. My entree was even better. Empanadas,I can't remember the name. But as we share it at the table, I realized we had to cut at least two or three more times before we left. If you're ever New Orleans visit this place, you will not regret it.
