If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The customer service was absolutely terrible, and I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life.
A group of friends and I entered the bar and all of us showed our IDs to one of the bartenders upon arrival. My friends ordered their drinks, and I decided to wait until later. After enjoying the music for a while, I went up to the bar to order a soda.
The bald bartender asked for my ID again, and I politely explained that I had already shown it to his colleague. Still, I went back to my table to retrieve it and returned to the bar. By that time, the bald bartender was busy serving others, and while waiting for him, another bartender took my order and handed me the soda without issue.
A few minutes later, the bald bartender stormed over to our table, yelling at me to leave. He was shouting so aggressively that everyone around looked confused. I tried to explain the situation, but he just kept yelling over me. I was kicked out of the bar having done absolutely nothing wrong.
After reading other reviews, it seems this isn’t the first time customers have been treated poorly by the same employee.
No one deserves to be treated with that level of hostility or disrespect. I would never recommend this bar to anyone.

While we were in New Orleans we had a few drinks in Maison Bourbon. The jazz band was excellent and they were funny when they introduced music and with general banter.
Maison Bourbon sounds like a brand of jam you’d find in a Carrefour 45 minutes outside of Paris.
But it is not. It is a jazz bar in New Orleans. The band that was playing here was good, but the singer definitely seemed like he was on some substances when he wasn’t (incredibly competently) playing the saxophone.
The beers were a reasonable price, it wasn’t too busy and there was plenty of room to dance. Overall a fun experience.
