They get in your face stating if you don’t order a drink then you have to leave. A bit obtrusive right away. I asked if I tip the band until I’m ready to have a drink and they said no. Owner rules are to buy a drink to stay. We would have if you did not get right in our face the second we walked in the door.

Such an amazing experience! If you are wanting good jazz in NOLA, come here. The service was phenomenal. So many great drink options (thank you for the surfsides!). The music was absolutely fantastic. Real jazz players playing 5-7 sets. Bring cash for the show. Definitely a must go to spot. Would come here every night

Atmosphere was nice , except the band took so many breaks but when they played they were very good. Food was cold and subpar ~ wasn’t that busy as we went early in the evening. Server was kind but extremely slow and we had to look for her several times
