Had a late lunch here. The crab cakes were amazing and so full of crab meat. The sauce was delicious. The duck wanton were pretty good but a couple of them had the filling fall out in the fryer. Good, prompt service.

Wow!!! Very pleased with Mambo’s!!!! Hospitality, service and the FOOD!!! No words can explain the greatness. Absolutely loved it. My first time to NO. Had the barbecue shrimp, triple delight, with a shot of Patron🤫. My daughter ordered the bread pudding . It was all greatness! I will be coming back. We were there for the UNT v Tulane game. This is a place to enjoy! This Texas lady will be coming back. Thank you Mambo’s.

The atmosphere was nice but the music was loud. My husband had Etoufae and I had the crab cakes. The food was good. I can't eat very spicy food I did eat half of one crab cake and my husband finished it. I got the other one to go. As soon as my husband's plate was empty a guy walked by and picked it up so fast we were surprised. When he saw the water glass empty he came and picked and the napkin up. It was like he was flash. Over all food is good and a nice atmosphere. It is pricey. It is the French Qurter.

Daisy Dukes has better gumbo and the oysters had more sauce on it than anything on them. Bottom line I was not impressed. Our waiter personality and attitude was dry. As a visitor I want recommend this place to anyone.

We ate at Mambos restaurant on the 3rd floor on Thanksgiving night. We had Michael as our server and he made our night! The food was great and hot when it arrived to the table. We allowed Michael to pick what we ate for dinner including appetizers and main meal. He nailed it. We started with duck wontons and cajun corn dip, both were amazing! For our main courses we had the blackend ribeye and the cajun jambalaya pasta. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. The jambalaya was loaded with shrimp, sausage and a creamy cajun sauce that was bursting with flavor! For desert we had the bread pudding....delicious! Thank you Michael for making our Thanksgiving perfect. We will definitely return to Mambos! Kevin and Lannie
