Food Was Unbelievable. We Just Had An Appetizer, But It Feed 3 People. There Sauce’s “Gravy’s” Are All Made In House And They Are Out Of This World Great. Best Marinara Sauce I’ve Ever Had. The Staff We’re Also Amazing!!!!

We ate there last year, and it was so memorable that I realized I had not yet rated it. A native New Orleanian told me they had the best gumbo in NOLA, which is high praise; I agree! Shrimp poboy was fantastic--worth going back just for that. Ride the Canal Street streetcar from the French Quarter to get there. I WILL be back!

0ld style eatery serving generous portions of everything. Oyster po boy is probably the best in the city.
I enjoyed the easy going atmosphere and comfy food IMHO.

The meatballs are the best in the city! Along with the Mandina family are also the best in the city!

Delicious shrimp creole, gumbo, fresh garden salad, great cocktail and tartar sauce, and blue cheese dressing. Great portion size for the appetizer sampler, we got oyster, shrimp and onion rings. Great service!

Great long time neighborhood restaurant on Canal Street. Close to French Quarter if you are staying there. Have enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs but also the gumbo and po-boys . Service is good. Gets busy weekend evenings, but worth the wait.

My fiance and I went to have lunch today cuz as a child we used to go eat at mandinas on canal all the time.. reset for 10 minutes while the waitress just kept passing us up talking to another table did not acknowledge us not one time didn't even try and say hey I will be right with you nothing we got up and walked out will never go back..not like it used to be..my suggestion is hire friendlier employees..the host looked as if she just rolled out of bed and went to work..she wasn't even friendly...awful customer service ..

Me and my friends came through town and stopped at this adorable little restaurant. The atmosphere here is so soft and comforting, and the service is amazing. We’ve went to quite a few food spots around town but absolutely nothing beats this. My friends have a few food allergies but they were so patient and quick to accommodate. I had the veal parm and spaghetti and I was absolutely in heaven. I will absolutely be back!
