Came here a few times. Food is okay, bar staff turns over a lot, and the owner charges for bathrooms on Mardi Gras, but the highlight is the band that plays on Sunday nights. I wish I could make it more often to see them. They should really get a better time slot!

Dinner at Marigny Brasserie had some real highs and one miss. The shrimp po’boy was a little underwhelming, but the glazed pork chop with corn completely redeemed the evening — succulent, flavorful and cooked beautifully. The boudin balls were a fantastic appetizer, crispy outside with a rich savory filling.
Cocktails were on point too. The Sazerac was smooth and well-balanced, and the grapefruit cocktail was refreshing without being overly sweet. Ended things with the bread pudding and ice cream, which absolutely hit the spot. Light, airy, and not overly heavy the way bread pudding sometimes can be. Solid dining experience overall.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was atrocious. Our waitress seemed so irritated that we came! Almost walked out before the food arrived because we felt as if we were an inconvenience. Can’t wait to come back and feel welcomed to enjoy some delicious food. I will not be spending my money if the woman with bleached short hair is working again. 5/18/26 6:30P.M.

Food was amazing! Live musicians so talented. Can’t believe this find. Fried green tomatoes topped with crab were memorable.

Absolutely wonderful! Their etoufee is SO GOOD! My only suggestion would be that it come in a bowl size. Currently they only have a cup size as an option. I wish I could have made it my whole meal! Service was very friendly and it's close to the night time arts market on Frenchman Street. I love bringing out of town guests here.

Server was pleasant but not very attentive. Drink was good but it took 20 minutes to get a round of drinks and then they came in plastic cups. Food was decent but also took quite a while. I'm a patient customer as I've worked both front and back of house. Everything I saw suggested systemic issues. I wouldn't recommend.

2026 Update: live jazz was wonderful, but food taste has declined a bit since our 2018 visit. Save room for the Pecan Pie with vanilla ice cream!

The band was great!
It appeared the waitress was also the bartender. She didn’t have a friendly personality and I don’t blame her. At that point close if you don’t have enough staff close. We had to grab silverware and ketchup from other tables.
In a culture of tipping for service, have an automatic gratuity added is a disappointment. Your staff can give poor service and aren’t held accountable.
The food came out fast. It was subpar. It was a disappointment for our first dinner in New Orleans.

I love this place. It's clean. Service is amazing. The food is always excellent. I just avoid it on Sunday nights due to not liking the band that plays. They aren't that good. Otherwise, then that is a 10/10 experience.

Possibly the worst meal I've eaten in New Orleans. The hostess was beyond incompetent, and it went downhill from there. 2 po boy with cheddar, $6...no cheddar. The bartender brings a cup.of cold cheese and slams it on the bar. Sandwich was average, at best. Please, go anywhere else.

Had some quick bites for lunch with friends. Everything is very flavorful, well seasoned, great cajun flavors. staff was great! Got the Cajun boullettes and fried green tomatoes, my friend on the sampler platter with Gumbo, red beans and rice and jumbalaya. Definitely recommended 👌
I'm sad to say this might be a tourist trap. We really thought the good reviews were true, but the only good we enjoyed were the starters. The salads were poor, blackened chicken was not blackened - cold, not seasoned, super disappointing. The smoked salmon salad was just lox, super odd for a dinner salad 🥗. Pork chop was lovely, highlight of the evening and service was good.

We visited this past weekend for the second time while in town. Excellent service by our waitress, Jessica, who even remembered us from our first visit before Christmas. Food was great, service was better and vibe was excellent. Will visit again!
