I placed an order over the phone. I went to pick it. I got there and an open container with a complete order was on the counter. I thought nothing of it. I'm short so I couldn't really see into the container very clearly. Then the rather indecisive couple in front of me commented on the veggies on the plate. Id requested veggies and the chef said they'd put something together for me. That's when I realized it was my plate that was sitting there open. I watched as the woman talked over, reached for things over and around my plate for no less than 5 minutes. I was appalled. She offered to make it over, but witnessing that made me question all of their sanitation practices so I declined. This was going to be my first time trying. After that. No thank you. Dine at your own risk.

Giving an extra star for it being during covid but brisket was heavy pepper, not a lot of smoke. Ribs were dry but not horrible. Wrapped and reheated meat is understood in the barbecue world i work within but this just didn't blow me away. Wasn't horrible but didn't overwhelm me. The baked beans were the best thing that I ate. Mac n cheese? Was dry and over baked. I get it Covid. I get it may be slow but maybe you make smaller batches in half pans instead of full pans. Pickles portioned in 1oz soufflés? Really? Weird. Barbecue sauce? Solid but nothing to write home about. Bartenders were nice and I got a coke and a bottle of water. I will add that the cashier that took my order was nice and made eye contact. She was friendly, prompt and to the point. Jarred Bread and butter pickles though? No sweet tea? Come on. With several amazing places here in town it will be hard for me to return for the barbecue but i am still majorly interested in the brisket philly, jambalaya, fried chicken so I'll be back soon. Maybe I'll come mid week during lunch time. Anyhow, it wasn't awful. But it wasn't great either.

Did the online ordering and curbside pickup which was super easy and they brought it out to my car with no issues. Ribs were spot on with the perfect amount of seasoning. Sauce has a fantastic homemade taste. Pulled pork had a good consistency - not dry but not mushy. Slaw was fresh. Tasted better than my own BBQ!

I used to go here more. But last few times, hasn't been great. Styrofoam plates, limited sauces. basically take out service but priced as a sit down restaurant.

It's crawfish season and outside the bar they have fresh local boiled crawfish for purchase through the brewery. The crawfish were AMAZING. The crawfish cooker/server was helpful and funny. Brewery staff were super nice and cool. They have a large assortment of beer types. Would love to go back again.

Top Notch Meat! Very rustic, don't expect linen or metal silverware, but the smoked meats are amazing. I had 3 meat combo with two sides: Ribs: 9/10, Brisket: 10/10, and Pulled Pork: 10/10, Mac n Cheese: 3/10, Coleslaw: 7/10. The sauces are just ok. The main star is the brisket and pork, ribs were great, just a little dry. The mac n cheese was disappointing, and the slaw decent. Didn't mind not having table service, but the reason for 4 stars was the rude and ineffectual guy taking my order and 20% tip. Would still recommend based on quality of the meat alone.

Great BBQ! At first I thought that the location would be "out of the way", being in a bar and all, but it's really a bonus! Just wish they weren't sold out of a few items, especially since we were there on a non-crowded weekday.

im a non-BBQ lover who loves their BBQ chicken! Ate it because they were in NOLA Brewery and I was there watching a Saints game. I would go back just for their BBQ and potato salad!

It's good bbq but expensive, 2 pounds of brisket plus 2 large sides was $60 that's alot per pound because there wasn't any leftovers It was great restaurant vibe, we ordered to go and picked up within 10 minutes they have alot of sides we just felt it was overrated and expensive

Stopped by one of our fav spots and got the pimento cheese bacon burger with waffle fries, it was fantastic! Menu recently changed and they only serve BBQ on Wednesdays now which is a bummer because they have the best BBQ. Service was friendly and food was great per usual. This is always a place I bring people that are visiting NOLA and everyone loves it.

I am so very sad. As a local this was ALWAYS my spot for BBQ. I just went there and noticed the menu was different. The person behind the counter said they do BBQ on Wednesdays ONLY now. WHAT!?!? Then CHANGE THE NAME OF THE PLACE as its NOT McClure's BARBECUE anymore. Also, they use grubhub and I almost placed the order there before deciding to drive over. The menu on Grubhub is the OLD MENU. I told the guy behind the counter and he looked at me like I had two heads growing out of neck and said he doesnt use it. What does that even mean!?!?? Do NOT go if you are looking for BBQ and its NOT Wednesday apparently. I used to be there all the time. I also run a very successful short term rental and was telling my guests to go there for some awesome BBQ. I wont do that anymore so you lost a lot of customers. I am adding a photo from Grubhub showing Brisket Cheese Steak Sandwich on the menu, for example, that is no longer available. Its the same with Molasses-Stewed Collard Greens. Sad sad sad.

The gumbo was great. I just wanted something warm to eat, but was surprised by a truly tasty bowl of gumbo!
