Food was pretty good but service was a bit disorganized. Our waiter kept taking things to the wrong table, couldn't get tableware and glassware on the table as needed, and wine delivery took forever.
The menu is great for sharing. Outstanding pork ribs & gumbo. Fried chicken also good. Tuna pockets could be missed.
The crispy shrimp tacos were excellent, and the service was fantastic! The deviled eggs looked amazing but didn't have a lot of flavor - they definitely needed salt.
The service was great, they were friendly & helpful. The food was underwhelming. We ordered 4 dishes and didn't finish any of them, they weren't bad, just nothing special. It was clean and a nice environment.
Always have a wonderful time at Meril. Service was great, and everything was delicious. Especially the brunch omelette.
We went for our anniversary and left absolutely amazed by the hospitality. The food was amazing and every member who helped us were all extremely accommodating. Thank you guys for the amazing experience!
For starters we had the Gulf Shrimp and Pork Dumplings and Candied Pork Ribs. The dumplings were good but the ribs contained large spots with cartilage and were spicier than we expected. My aunt and I had the Spicy Paccheri. It was ridiculously spicy and neither of us could finish. My husband and uncle had the Grilled Ribeye. They both seemed to have mixed reviews on it. The strange part was that the meal didn't all come out at the same time and several of us had to wait for the rest of the meal to come out so that we could start together. For dessert we had Banana Cream Pie and the Tiramisu! Both desserts were very good!
The food here is always excellent! We've never had to wait to be seated with reservations. Wait staff attentive and friendly.
Most of the food is good - but $16 to add dry chicken breast to a salad that is already $16 is unreal.
Once again, Meril did not disappoint. I just love this place, with great food and ambiance. My only reason for not giving an overall 5 rating is due to the noise level, a common problem in a lot of popular venues due to a lack of baffling material to minimize sound bouncing off of hard surface interiors. Other than that, you should definitely check out Meril!

The food and service are both phenomenal. This should definitely be on your list of top restaurants.
We are Emeril lovers. We were not aware that this would be super casual. We frequent NOLA for dining experiences. This was not what we expected. Bar food, and great flatbread but not our cup of tea.
Lauren waited on us and did a great job Our order came to the table right in time And was delicious
Don't forget to save room for the banana cream pie! THIS is our all time favorite dessert from ANY restaurant. The butternut squash soup was even better when we added crushed black pepper AND hot sauce so be sure and ask for those. Portions are small but everything delicious.
Disappointing. Food was very mediocre. Salads were bad. Gumbo horrible. Steak was adequate.
