?? Visiting from out of town... and this has to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had - great atmosphere, food is delicious, and their waitstaff is beyond amazing with their level of service ??

Loved this place. Good mix of traditional and fusion-style NO food, and it was delicious. Price was reasonable for the quality. Wait staff were excellent and it was full so atmosphere was good.

If your going to have turkey necks on the menu please cook them enough so that they are tender. These turkey necks were so tough. It was a party of 6 and we all got the turkey necks and they were all tough like they were not cooked. Very disappointing. We have had these turkey necks before at another restaurant and unfortunately Merils was a great disappointment. If your going to go on Emrils name be impressive. Please take this off the menu until you can do it right. This was the talk of the night and I am embarrassed to have recommended my out of state friends jerr for this.

What a great experience! From start to finish the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Keys was our server, and was excellent. He was kind, attentive, and gave us great recommendations on food. The entire staff was pleasant, and the vibe made for a very enjoyable evening.

We made reservations for a party of 6 and gave them a credit card number to hold it. Later in the day, plans changed and we wanted to cancel We were told it's a $150 charge to cancel, so we showed up after all. After being seated we waited 45 minutes before the waitress took our drink order, then another 30 minutes before we ordered food. When the food finally arrived, it was nothing special. Not bad, but nothing to get excited about either. Definitely not worth the price. The waitress took forever to come back to ask if we'd like anything else, and then another long wait for the check to arrive. It wasn't very busy, she spent most of her time standing around talking to co-workers, while we waited in her sight. There is a standard 20% tip for this terrible service, so why should she bother to actually do her job ? Needless to say, we'll never be back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to leave feeling like they've been screwed.

We came to NOLA for a week and we ended up eating here twice because we loved the food so much. Great service and fun atmosphere.

I reserved for a group of 10 on a Tuesday. I absolutely loved this meal - from the Korean wings, to the tart fish sauce Brussels sprouts, to the flatbread. The half chicken was delicious but just a bit difficult to cut in a bowl. My colleagues loved their ribs, tacos, and fish. The cotton candy was funny, served with a sparkler. I loved my pomegranate bourbon drink with the rosemary!

I felt like I was dining in a cafeteria. There was no flow or organization to the room just fit as many tables into the space as possible. It was loud, chaotic, and lacked atmosphere. Servers were phenomenal and the food looked great.

All the dishes we had were amazing! (2 adults, kids 10 & 12). Portion sizes were mixed (truffle pasta lucky if a cup!) Ambiance & service little lacking...would have hoped better for price paid. Not sure I would return if traveling to NOLA again but don't regret going once.

This is a beautiful, elegant, airy modern restaurant in New Orleans. I picked it as wanted our family to try one of Emeril Lagasse's restaurants while visiting New Orleans and figured my teens would enjoy the modern concept of this restaurant. The food was pretty good overall but somewhat overpriced for what it was. If half stars were an option I'd probably give this place 3.5 stars instead of 4. Here are my ratings of the dishes our party of 4 ate: - Shishito peppers ( B plus) - tuna poke ( B) - deviled eggs ( C minus ) - octopus ( A minus ) - Roasted Cauliflower ( B minus) - Ribeye steak ( C ) - carrots ( A ) - crawfish flat bread ( special of the night ) ( B plus) Service was good. Overall, pretty good. Not amazing or a memorable meal but definitely nice place for a group.

Had lunch here today and I like this place even more every time I visit. I started with the seafood gumbo and it was authentic and very good. My wife ordered the meatballs and they were maxing with a great tasting red sauce. For my entree, I ordered the Korean chicken wings they were so tasty and had such a great crisp to them. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles and was an interesting twist to a classic. My wife really enjoyed it. And for desert, there is really only one dessert in my opinion to get here and that is the banana pie. It's one of my favorite deserts anywhere. Our server was fantastic.

Sat at the counter for dinner, and the kitchen displayed a high degree of competency and professionalism. Awesome food. Very attentive waitstaff. Don't sleep on the roasted heirloom carrots. Fire.
