Messina's Runway Cafe

Ran in for a quick bite while passing through the city. One of the hostesses told us we could come in but had 20 minutes to order, eat, and exit as they were preparing for a private event. 🤔

The manager told us to come on in. I'm glad he understood the assignment. The view is really nice. Watching private aircraft arrive and depart is a nice dining view.

The food was quite tasty. Our waitress Champagne was really a delight. Her suggesting were on point and her service was personable.

This was my second time here and I look forward to my third.

Use to eat here all the time last year, its close to my job but since they changed ours its impossible for me to go now. I wish they never changed their hours for people with early jobs. Nevertheless the food was always good

So someone recommended this place to me and my family so I thought it was going to be legit. After waiting an hour to be seated we waited another 2 hours for our food and during that wait time thr waitress went missing several times. It's sad that tips are mandated for parties of 6 people or more at at set rate because she didn't deserve 28 bucks. $5 would have been justified

Whitney Bank had an event for the employees that were employed during hurricane Katrina 20 years ago. The food was very good and also the drinks, especially the bartender that made my old fashioneds. It was definitely a nice event and everyone had a good time! I haven't been there in years and I was very pleased that they picked such an unusual place to hold the get together.

Flew into Lakefront to drop my daughter off and decided to grab lunch. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, with great views and authentic art-deco aesthetics. The food and service were very nice too. Highly recommend.

They have the BEST bread pudding I've ever tried. One of the airport employees, Darrel, told me they were incredible. He was not wrong! Thank you Darrel!

We had the Veggie Omelet and the Lindbergh Omelet. The Veggie Omelet was good (can't really go wrong). However, the Lindbergh Omelet wasn't so great. The hollandaise was extremely salty and the crab meat was cold. It crab meat wasn't seasoned or sautéed. Just taste like it was straight out of the pack.
