Mid-City Chicken and Po-Boy's

The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Everything was so good and fresh, made to order, just how I like it!!! Wings were amazing, the hamburger was so big & juicy & that shrimp po-boy was delicious. I will be visiting NOLA within the next few weeks and I know exactly where I’m eating. The Hot Sausage po-boy was incredible, 10/10. I had mine with pickles and cheese, highly recommended. Food took time to cook, but was well-worth the wait.

Kid-friendliness: There are a few games to occupy kids while you wait, but not enough room to run around.

Delicious wings! Cooked perfectly. All the sauces are on point! Fries taste fire and seasoned well. Gotta try the lemonade and sweet tea if you like hella sweet.

Don’t walk here, RUN!!! From the customer service alone, I got the impression that this business cares about their food being the best quality and ensuring their customers are highly satisfied. Everything was great, the salmon bites were the highlight and the house made lemonade, but I would order everything again. Y’all go support this local business, they’re very deserving. P.S. owner/manager please list the salmon bites and crawfish pie on door dash so I can order it again please and thank you!

I ordered a Hamburger on French, dressed. What I got was a half-cooked cheeseburger on French. If they don’t know the difference between a Hamburger and a Cheeseburger, I just can’t patronize this business. What a disappointing experience.

I visited that place and the seating is very uncomfortable and not fit for elderly people. Also I ordered a hamburger on French and was given a cheeseburger on French, I believe it’s should be an option. A hamburger does not come with cheese it’s a difference. The wings are pretty good but the fries were not hot at all. I was only trying to support the black business and I was very disappointed. I don’t think I will be going back no time in the future!!

Staff was extremely friendly, food was fresh made to order and tasted great. The staff really went out of their way to help and were very kind to our family.

Ordered an oyster poboy for takeout. The oysters were so black & burnt, I threw the whole plate away! I called the restaurant to complain & kept getting hung up on. The woman that answered the 2nd time had an attitude & told me the manager was on vacation (Yea right) & hung up in my face once again…The last time I called, I was told I’ll be receiving a refund that I have YET to receive. This place is just NASTY. They fry all their food in old cooking oil. It’s so bad, it tastes like you’re drinking the oil straight from the bottle (used oil at that)

Family run spot. The food was on point. Wings were very good. And the chicken tenders. It took a bit of time, though, to get our food. The atmosphere could probably use a revamping. Rearrange the seating. There are too many tvs for a small seating area. The door kept locking us in.

I came here with my mom while we were in NOLA and I’m still thinking about the food here ? I am so grateful we stopped in! I got the fish po boy and I wish on my life I lived around the corner from this spot to stop in for one all the time! Everyone was so nice and the table set up was so cute! We played jenga and had the best food. Thank you so much for our happy full bellies! Can’t wait to be back again one day soon I hope! Miss it so much!
