I got the tofu and mushroom pho. This is one of the tastiest vegan pho broths I've had in the city. I was honestly not expecting it to be as good as it was. There is a lot more to try, too. Definitely recommend!

Place was packed when I walked in. Luckily I got a seat at the bar. My body was craving pho, so that’s what I got. I ordered the veggie pho and added tofu. It did not disappoint. Tons of flavor and the veggies cooked just right. Definitely recommend Updated from previous review on 2025-12-20

I only been once, and I wasn’t hungry.

Price? You paying for the area bc it’s uptown. Regardless I ran in for a quick bite. Picked up beef banh mi, and pretty good so I’ll give it a 5 star. The juice made the bread soggy at the bottom real quick. Note $10 banh mi is high but if I am a college student at Tulane, I wouldn’t drive to New Orleans East to eat.

I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee, and again pretty solid. Not the best ever, but for a restaurant, it’s better than most places (from Vancouver-Houston-Dallas). Enjoy ppl.

Great place! The phone broth is delightful but ask them to give you the spicy one so good.

We went to Mint Modern for a quick weeknight dinner and it ended up being exactly what we needed. The pho was delicious and really comforting after a long day. Service was quick, and even though it was busy it didn’t feel chaotic at all. Great spot for an early dinner if you want something cozy and want to beat the rush!

AMAZING pho. Broth is divine. I suggest the NY strip or brisket; the chicken pho broth is delicious, but the chicken itself is dry (to be fair, this tends to be the case with most chicken phos). Fresh (summer) rolls were delicious too. Highly recommend the avocado smoothie.

Service is generally quick and very friendly. Laidback, casual vibe.

Just a quick note for anyone reading this: the kitchen usually closes 20-30 minutes before the restaurant’s official closing time!

It’s great food. Giving a 4 because my order was messed up on a take away order - still good. Just not what I ordered. Oh well. It was something new !

We drove 30 mins to eat here. They advertise 10pm but were closed at 9:15 pm on a Friday night

Chill vibes, decent food. Banh Mi was a little dry but tasted good. Happy they had a vegetarian option.

I was about ready to give up on finding good vegan food in New Orleans… then I found MINT Modern Vietnamese Bistro & Bar, and wow — they really came through.

The mushroom and tofu pho? Easily the best I’ve ever had — super flavorful, loaded with fresh toppings, and so satisfying. The tofu bánh mì was huge, fresh, and packed with flavor. The tofu and tomato bowl was hearty and filling, and the fried tofu spring rolls? Perfection.

The portions are big, the prices are fair, and they have a great variety of vegan options. I’m so glad a place like this exists here — I’ll definitely be back (probably way too often).
