When you step into this restaurant you forget you're in New Orleans. The food and atmosphere is top tier. Favorite things we ordered was the wagyu, full lobster, hummus with garlic bread, tuna on fried rice, espresso martini, and smoking gun. Can't wait to go back.
Given that this was the first night open to the public, it is understandable that the staff are not fully trained. The section closest to the street was cold and needed heat. Wait staff need to check on tables more frequently. Will go back to try again but def need some quirks re-worked.
A friend described Kira as “Bohemian Nobu,” and honestly, that might be the most accurate way to capture the fusion of style, flavor, and atmosphere Billy Blatty has created. The space is visually striking—a laid-back Miami energy wrapped in Tulum-inspired décor, warm lighting, and a vibe that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard.
