Best flat white I’ve had so far in NOLA. This is a laid back coffee shop and roastery in a Quonset hut with a variety of seating options. Kind baristas. Not too crowded or noisy. Protein bars and homemade pastries. For non-coffee drinkers they offer a matcha latte and some bottled or canned options.
You may want to avoid going in right at opening time, even if the doors are unlocked, the sign is out, and the garage is open—the staff might still be getting things ready for the day. When I arrived, I was kindly told someone would be right with me, which I completely understood, but then I was also told they weren’t open yet, even though it was already 7:00am. I know mornings can be busy and everyone needs a moment to get settled, but the experience felt a little underwhelming...
Very convenient location to walk or drive to. Delicious coffee, excellent service, friendly barista and overall a nice vibe…and you’ve got the roasting going on right there! Nice coffee shop choice without the Magazine street mayhem.
