Great healthy choice. My go to is the chicken shawarma plate. Love the jalapenos added to the hummus. The salad dressing is also great. The chicken is moist and full of flavor. Hate when chicken shawarma is dry and bland, not here! Check the iced mint tea out too.

Update 10/25: there’s been a remodel to the restaurant, still great staff and service, the food is always fresh, authentic, and phenomenal! I love the new enclosed patio area, really big windows that can be opened on beautiful days.
I’ve traveled a lot, been to various middle eastern countries, and truly Mona’s has the very best middle eastern food I’ve ever eaten. I remember dining at their previous location on Frenchman Street, and the food has been consistently delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the wait staff is outstanding.

Grilled chicken salad hardly had any chicken on it. Tzatziki sauce was not good. And the waitress was petting a dog and then serving food.
Our group go there all weeks for many years but they fired a waitress, she was working there decades and they dropped it like nothing , about the food is nothing special

The lamb chops were good, not marinated long enough. The food was good 👍🏾 and the Lebanese tea was good and it had the nuts. 👍🏾 My waiter was excellent and he was a little surprised I was aware of the dishes and the flavor the food should have.
