The bartender (Hannah) added drinks to my tab that I did not get. Not only would she not take the extra drinks off, but she added a 25% tip to the check despite that fact that I had already tipped her. I was unaware of the illegal additional tip she added until I checked my credit card statement. Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional bartenders. I will never be returning to this bar and I highly recommend avoiding this bar as well.

the bartender was great, good selection of drinks, but the music was too loud to have a conversation (not to mention that my friend paid to have a certain song played and 20+ minutes went by without the song ever playing). also google maps is lying to you, they DO NOT have food anymore ‼️

Came here for the band on Sunday night. Never been. What a very nice bar. It has couches and pool tank and comfy chairs. The bar is amazing with an excellent selection of liquor I will be back what a great vibe. Plus the lady's bathroom is so very cool and clean

This bar is such an amazing place to spend the evening. The drinks are amazing and bartenders are very professional. To reply to the baseless slander about anyone much less the bartenders stealing that is simply a lie!! I don’t know where that person has been going for cocktails, but if you are getting top shelf or anything for that mater in 2023 prices have tripled everywhere. So no one is stealing. Also the staff does not treat customers based on their looks! That is ridiculous. They wouldn’t have the large regular local business that they do. So do yourself a favor and go to Monkey Hill it is truly one of NOLA’S hidden Treasures! Cheers

Bartenders steal. We all have seen it. We went at Happy Hour paid a $20 for 2 drinks . Bartender gives me a $5 back. I said,”dear, I’m not drunk; $6 from $20 = $14. “WELL THATS WHAT THE MACHINE RUNG UP!”….over & over & over I saw this go on. No

This bar is staffed by naïve bartenders that judge you solely on appearance. If you don’t meet their standards they won’t serve you. The bar manager is equally ignorant and think yuppie Tulane students and transplants are their bread and butter. If you want a soulless imitation Los Angeles bar and don’t want to be served if you don’t fit their type, this is the place for you.

This bar is staffed by ignorant 21 year olds who only serve you if you fit their demographic. If I wanted to feel inferior and experience the shallow atmosphere of Los Angeles, I would go there. This bar shouldn't be allowed to exist in the cultural milieu of New Orleans.

Neighborhood bar with more of an upscale ambiance. Great place to watch the games, meet with folks before going out, or just catch up.

Very nice atmosphere and good service. Prices are a bit on the high side. $10 per shot seems to be a little excessive in my opinion.

This place blew me away!! Lived in Nola for 8 years near by and it's always been on my list. I'll admit, we went hungry and from their social media, it appeared they had a delicious menu. Upon arriving, we found out they no longer utilize their kitchen. I'm not sure why but this place would KILL IT with a kitchen. There was almost no one in the building and it is the most adorable spot for date night, couple of friends wanting to catch up or even a spot to play pool. In December they are decorated for the holidays and you can hear the faint Christmas music playing from outside. Behind the bar there is an entertainment room where you can rent out parties. The owner was in and showed me the room himself. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing ambiance or a private party. For private parties, they will assist with food. They have many tvs to display the games and offer sound for their projection screen. Lastly, the bathrooms are gorgeous. You can't find many places with nice bathrooms but Monkey Hill kept the entire place filled with historical Nola charm. I can't stress this enough.... Check out this place!

Beautiful place, attentive bartenders, and clean and beautiful bathrooms. Loved the big screen while watching a Pelicans game.
