The only thing good about this place was the music. If I was deaf, I would been more upset because the food was overpriced for the quality. Mashed potatoes were not good. Had better at my highschool. Macaroni was subpar. My family also said their fries were cold. The whole experience was just off. This place tries too hard to be a “vibe” and “exclusive” with this outrageous menu. They have a lot to improve on. Waited on my server for way longer than I should’ve. Did not feel welcoming. Gnats flying everywhere was just uncomfortable. Nothing on that menu is worth the price. Do not waste your time or money.

We showed up on Sunday at 1pm and got on the waiting list. After waiting 90 min, the hostess told my wife, our party was SKIPPED after a 5 min grace period! The only issue with that is SHE NEVER SENT US AN ALERT!! All that to say..it was 3pm before we were seated. This was one of my major concerns. The other concern is, I don't like the way the manager dealt with the situation AT ALL! The only thing he did was, tell us we'd be seated shortly....NO BILL ADJUSTENTS, NO COMPS, FREE DESSERT, APPETIZER.....NO NOTHING!! Typically most spots would show some type of effort to right a wrong...There was none in this situation. Mind you, we drove 90 min to get to this joint. That's 3 hrs of travel time plus the time spent at this location...That was a WHOLE WORK DAY!! The food seemed good, but not sure if that was because we waited all day to eat!!

The food was good. We had the seafood gumbo, fried chicken, mac & cheese, pasta plus rice & red beans. The seafood gumbo is not gumbo or gumbo like. It tastes just like ramen. It wasn't bad it just wasn't gumbo. The star of the show was the red beans dish, fried chicken and bread pudding. The pudding was the best I had in New Orleans.
The place is very busy prepare to wait. The music was on point so you don't feel the wait as much. I went during the week, it was still very busy. The staff is pleasant and accommodating.
Overall I would visit again.

I absolutely love this place. It's always a vibe and the food hits every time. my last visit I went twice because I love the Ramen Gumbo and I needed to have it before I left the city. From the moment we walked in the door , the staff was very friendly and attentive. The hostess Tori greeted us and had a great personality, although it was crowded and she was new she handled the customers with a smile and excellent customer service. We had the honor and pleasure of meeting the manager Laren( spelling?) who also had great customer service. He was very personable and kind. You could tell his leadership is effective, everything appeared to be running smoothly. And our waitress Mari (spelling) was definitely awesome. Her suggestions, and attention to us was remarkable. Needless to say my experience with Morrows was superb!

Simultaneously the best and worst experience I’ve had in NoLa.
The food in 10/10 everything was delicious and worth the hype. Sadly, this is all I can say nice about this place.
My friend and I made a reservation and showed up the hostess was ready to sit us when the bouncer told her we aren’t allowed in because of what we were wearing. We had on sleeveless tops. The bouncer told us we had to go to the shell gas station and buy a T-shirt to enter! As if a gas station T-shirt is nicer to look at than our cute outfits showing off our arms. When I pointed out that almost everyone inside had a sleeveless shirt (August in New Orleans), they said men aren’t allowed to show arms. Never once did I self identify as a “man” they just assumed (I’m non binary btw).
We walked outside to calm down only to be shocked when we looked on the balcony and saw not one “man” but two in tank tops! Eventually we were able to enter after 20 mins of back and forth and was sat upstairs right next to a table of “men” in which one of the “men” was not only wearing a tank top but SLIDERS as well!
This inconsistent enforcement of an inherently classist, racist, homophobic, gender oppressive policy is the reason I will never go back even though the food was again 10/10.
Beyond that; service was awful even though our waitress was so nice. We were there for 2 hours, never got a water refill or checked in for more drinks.
Morrows DO BETTER! Dignity and respect

The food amazing and our server Chelsea was so amazing. She helped us navigate the best options which you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. Although the place was smaller than I expected, we didn't feel uncomfortable. 10/10. And definitely ask Chelsea to be your server, she is amazing good time.

Food was good but the layout of the restaurant I don’t like. We were put right in from of the restroom and it’s a small area for people to be walking through so I felt crowded and confined. The sweet potatoes were great!

We didn't have no reservations. It only took 10 mins to seat us. The desert was amazing. 10 out of 10 peach cobbler and bread pudding. We was able to finish the food afterward Ave we was leaning 😆.. we hurt ourselves. Dint leave out the alcohol 🍸.. yeah call know the rest. Mrs Chef Kelly did your thing. She can cook for me any day. She just better know to have my chicken right. MR L. The manager was great and full of jokes but it all worked out. In my Lil Wayne voice

We visited Nola yesterday and decided to try this place. Wow we really enjoyed the atmosphere & the food. The staff was amazing. Best food in Nola!
Our first interaction was with the hostess who had a very nasty attitude and told us we couldn't park where three other employees told us to. Secondly the atmosphere was horrible , the management does absolutely nothing to maintain control of the restaurant. The two groups of people behind us were being extraordinarily loud and obnoxious. Then the hostess presumed to tell me that my helmet couldn't be where it had been for about 30 min already. There were 5 open tables and No one waiting and we were told we couldn't be seated unless it was at the bar. The bar tender was cool. When we received our bills they went ahead and helped themselves to a pretty generous tip that we did not agree to ( just me dinning) when questioned about it , his reply was we automatically put a tip on every bill. So regardless of of how you feel about your service or staff or experience they will just take your money without your concent. The food was OK at best. And waaaayyyy over priced.⁵ I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
