Mr. John's Steakhouse

The service was excellent, provided by a very friendly, attentive staff. The Steak was delicious, cooked perfectly, melt in your moth good. All of the sides were excellent. This is a repeater.

So, this is normally my favorite steak restaurant in the city. But, I guess this is the first time I have gone with a party larger than 4. I did not realize they cannot do more than 4 credit card charges. It was 6 of us. We had to manually figure out what each person owed. I don't think I will go back with a party larger than 4 again. The food was very delicious, but not really worth the final bill hassle in the end.

Service was great. Food was okay - most everything was overcooked. Filet ordered medium came out well done. Lobster was very salty. Garlic mashed potatoes were good.

Mr Johns steakhouse was fabulous. The waiters and waitresses are phenomenal. This will be my new favorite uptown restaurant. Love that you have valet parking

Positively the worst dinner I have ever had! Two of three steaks cooked wildly off! One sent back 4 times!! The other 3 times! The manager swung by with a completely insincere apology. The server tried his best. Everyone in our section turned over and we were still there! Truly awful and the last for us here. Disappointed for sure on what was a big celebration night.

Great atmosphere and great service. I think we caught an off night as far as our food choices, will try again in the future, our meal was just average.

The service, cocktails, appetizers and sides were great. The steak, Porter House for two had good flavor but was a tough piece of meat. I really enjoyed the place but not my steak.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Food was delicious as always! The meatball is absolutely the icing on the cake......superb!

The grind of the peppercorns on the veal was to big to enjoy. I couldn't stop coughing. Also the michrooms on the side were unbearably salty. The steak was great though!

We have been 4 times, this was the least impressive. Slow service, food mediocre. Mentioned Anniversary and Birthday celebration. There was no mention of either.

Outstanding experience from entering Mr. John's, great/attentive staff, food was incredible and of course Paul G. is the consummate host!

Unfortunately, upon arrival we were told kitchen was closing, and we needed to hurry up and then it's definitely not the right way to start off dinner at a very expensive steakhouse. There were 10 of us and all 10 of our steaks were cooked incorrectly and had to go back and still came back incorrect. The manager who was aware of things could care less and basically said we'll do better next time. There won't be a next time for any of us. This was very highly recommended by several people, but I think I've noticed in a lot of of the recent reviews that people have said they think something has changed ... and it isn't the same way it used to be. Skip. Go elsewhere

No wait time food was very Mid steaks won't cooked at right temp Mac n cheese was very hard plus card machine was down the entire night which cause a wait time to leave plus it was my birthday....🙄

Very disappointing. Not a good steak at a what's supposed to be a steakhouse. Almost no “Italian” connection.
