The Napoleon House has always been fantastic. Great food, ambiance and service. I recommend you to everyone. I've been going to The Napoleon House for decades. It's not your fault some people don't know what a side dish or Creole food are.
Great New Orleans food in the French Quarter. Great people watching too. Best for lunch.

The very nice little restaurant, the ambulance and top service. The meal did not live up to our expectations. The meat too tough, without any flavor. The reasonable price. I recommend it if you want to eat cheaply.

When in the Vieux Carré, there are certain places to go for certain things. For muffuletta, it’s Napoleon House. I’m not a muffuletta guy, but this is where we take friends who want one, and if I were to eat one I would go here first. The bread is what makes it. The other stuff is good too. I like the gumbo and the shrimp po-boy. Also a go-to place for a Pimms Cup or flight. But the main reason I like the NH is just to be there. In many ways, the place seems to have been falling apart since the building was completed in 1791, and may be held together mostly by the graffiti ink covering almost every square inch of the decaying plastered walls. But this is why I love it here. In good weather the first floor doors are open to the sidewalks, so grab a table near one of them for great people watching. The other dining rooms and the courtyard are also great places to soak in the history and charm of the Quarter.

Eat here every day for lunch on the yearly Nola trip. 30+ times, never skips a beat. Best place to be during an afternoon rainstorm, the ambiance is like out of a movie. Waitstaff is on point, personable. Food is amazing. Daydreaming abt a Pimms cup and a Muffuletta and realized I've never wrote a review.

I went here for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! I got the Italian cheesy bread with shrimp on top, and it was amazing. The pesto drizzle on there with the parmesan was perfect. The muffaletta was great, and it was really big, too. I liked the jambalaya a lot. The bartender was really nice, and the restaurant was really pretty.
WOW. Just WOW. Napoleon House is the PERFECT venue if you are looking for a stylish and intimate wedding or event of any kind. We booked the Rosa and Pietro room (second floor) for our wedding. The space itself was stunning with a charming vintage style that you would expect from being in the heart of the french quarter. Napoleon House provided the food and drinks for our wedding and everything was amazing!
The main reason behind our great experience is because of the entire team at Napoleon House. From the moment we started our wedding planning process, Beth and Karen consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and at ease with our decision to book them to host our special day. They both were SUPER informative and very responsive with all the questions that we had throughout the process. They did more than we could have asked by providing us with a private taste testing for the food during one of our trips to NOLA and offered the venue's space for delivery of items prior to the wedding day. We took a few trips to Napoleon and every single staff member we interacted with was so nice and professional. We also loved Josh! He was our main guy for the food and handled the table set-ups and has an amazing level of service that can't be matched at even the finest of fine dining restaurants in New Orleans.
Overall, perfect. No complaints. Do yourself a favor, book them for anything and everything. You won't be disappointed. Better yet, Napoleon House will leave you with a lasting impression that embodies the charm and good people of New Orleans.

Great old atmosphere, try to sit in the entry room or the courtyard. Beer and food reasonably priced, friendly staff
Went on a Tuesday around 7:30pm in October on my own. Busy with a short wait to get a seat at the bar (getting a table would have been a longer wait). Muffuletta is as great as mentioned in other reviews. Bread Pudding excellent as well, had an apple pie like taste. Had leftovers and took back to my hotel.

Amazing muffaletta and bread pudding. The gumbo was very good as well, and I really enjoyed the historic venue and great service.
