Long waits, inattentive service, frozen and bland food with the exception of just a few items. Imported shrimp in new Orleans is just ridiculous.
You can spend less time and the same money for significantly better food all over the new Orleans area.
On a bad day, the service is abysmal. Shocking really. I had the grilled redfish yesterday and it wasn't grilled. Dry, overcooked and likely freezer burnt. Green beans so stale and bland that they were inedible;same for my mom's mixed vegetables.

This place was recommended by a local. We were hype up to go there. We started off with the jazzy wings which we thought had some type sauce on it nope just plain fried wings. I ordered the pork chops and dressing and potato salad. Everything was horrible the dressing was sweet who puts sugar in dressing. I thought the potato salad was mashed potatoes. Wife has fried chicken and Mac and cheese and potato salad. The Mac and cheese wasn't baked it was Kraft out of the box. If I could give this place a -0 I would very disappointed. Look at the gorilla face outside he saying run ?.

Managed to get here a few times, everyone in my group loved the food. The bread pudding was beyond delicious; special mention for the carrot souffle too.
I ordered the southern fried chicken (white meat), baked spaghetti and cornbread dressing. Well the chicken didn’t come and the other two items were cold. I reported it to Uber Eats they refunded me $1.26 and my total was $22.26. Then they told me to write a review and that should help the restaurant do better. On top of that I’ve called the restaurant over 10 times no answer. So yeah I’m still hungry. Spent my lunch break trying to get my money back and calling them. Never again. If I could give it a zero I would.

This is a hidden gem for sure. Was looking for lunch spot after visiting the botanical gardens at city Park. Thought about Parkway bakery, but the line was down the block. With multiple choices in the area we picked Neyows. I thoroughly enjoyed the greens over rice with fried chicken & corn bread. First time there, but it won’t be our last. Great food, great service

OMG, I given so many great reviews about this restaurant. The initial experience of the atmosphere was great. Our waiter Doo-Doo Dirty was extremely rude. He was making statements about the bartender and co-workers. He was rushing us to order and then when asked him to split the check he was like man I've been doing this all day. Excuse me isn't this your job sir? The pasta was horrible tasteless and presentation was horrible too.
