Came to window at 1120 & asked where they opened & the older lady only stated " You don't see the light on, do you?" Waited until noon & still not open with no explanation. 3 employees in kitchen never came to register & speak to us, just peeked through window with. Really wanted to try it, but Nina won't have to worry about getting my money anymore.

I can’t lie the food was extremely fresh and flavorful, but the service was horrible. I had just patronized the day before and the service wasn’t bad but the next day it was horrific. Like everyone at work was having a bad day! And it wasn’t just me, other customers before me weren’t having service issues with the staff as well.

Ms. Nina, as a devoted fan and supporter of yours, I regret to inform you that I will not be returning to Nina's within Harrah's. The lengthy wait times and subpar customer service have become unacceptable. On February 12th, during Mardi Gras week, the restaurant closed its doors at 2:30 pm. Unfortunately, Janisha's conduct has been detrimental to your organization. I urge you to implement necessary changes so that locals like myself can continue to extend our support.

Quick bite while in casino. Tried the wings with mango sauce. They were tasty but expensive for what you get. They only got a 3 as they were out of 2 of the items we wanted to order. It was early in the evening and makes no sense to be out of red beans and rice at 5:30pm. Food court eating area so ambiance is zero.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone… First, the food took over 30 minutes to get there and when I said something to the very rude manager, he said well I’ll just give you your money back. Just awful experience overall…. From all the reviews they should definitely get rid of the staff they have there If they want to be successful

Small menu. Nothing looks good. Pictures are so disappointing on reviews. Hope Nina steps it up.

Delicious Shrimp and grits. the sauce- was amazing. It’s in the food court. At Harrahs. Nina please replace the botanical wall art with framed photos of your beautiful food. People need visuals of the menu. I almost walked past even with the photo roll. I’ve eaten at Emeril’s and Steakhouse-sorry but Your the Queen!

Zero customers in area. I approached the register. Employee appeared uninterested in taking an order.I walked.

If I could give zero stars I would!!!It wasn't the food it was the CUSTOMER SERVICE that cancels out the food. I ordered wings and one still had blood running when I got close to the bone.I "politely" asked if they would replace the one and the two Cooks peered through food window with a VERY angry face as though irritated that I asked for.a.replacment.After asking the Cashier 4 times / 45 mins later they replaced it.I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT RETURN AND WILL ASK ALL THE FALCONS VISITORS TO.DO THE SAME!!

This is a tale of two meals. Girls trip to NO and our first stay at Harrah's New Orleans (soon to be changed to Caesar's when we were there). I saw Nina Compton had a walk up restaurant here! Loved her on Top Chef so I was definitely going to try it! 1st day, I ordered the Wings and okra - fantastic! Crispy, juicy, wings with great flavor and the okra was hot and crispy as well! I saw a little printed sign on the register that they would have red beans and rice BUT it wouldn't be ready until after 4, so note to self - go back! Well I did, the next night, after 8 pm, for the red beans and rice. What a completely different experience! The red beans - which had great flavor - was under room temperature, almost cold and the rice - cold - like, refrigerator cold, as it was sitting in the fridge and they took a scoop and took it straight out of the cold container. So disappointing - and it wasn't cheap! I threw it out because our room was in a separate building and I was tired. Nina needs to check in with the evening staff!

I wasn't expecting to be blown away, and I wasn't disappointed. It was raining, staying across the street, took the easy way out and went in. Despite Chef Nina's rep, it's a small joint in a casino so I didn't expect a five star experience. But still - the Caribbean salad was a head of browning iceberg with minimal toppings. No shrimp so I got chicken. Chicken was pretty good but overcooked. Don't waste your time with that. Better salads in a home ec class. Got fries too (great combo fries + salad). Potential there with the fries, but dudes, change the oil once in a while. They should close this one and open a Chipotle in its place. That's a mediocrity I understand that doesn't cost $30. Forget this place.

I really wanted to like this place. The young lady at the register was very nice but, the cook in the back was very rude. She was yelling at the young lady at register to stop taking orders and that she was not cooking anymore. I understand it was 20 min until close but there's a better way to communicate rather than yelling and cussing through the window. Needless to say I got the Mango bbq fried chicken wings and okra. Okra was really good BUT the chicken was still bloody on the inside and batter was very salty. Very disappointed about my first experience.

On Saturday 1/30/2023. Atmosphere is great within Harrah's Casino. After much hype from me to my parents. We all were so disappointed. I watched and cheered for Nina on Top Chef. The food we received from Nina's Creole Cottage was from The Bottom Chef. After spending $81.53 including a $15.00 tip, my parents and I received horrible food. After waiting a total of 45 minutes. Lets start. The Chopped salad with Castfish was basically unseasoned /un-grilled catfish with alot of watery iceberg lettuce..two orders of Wings - skin overcooked inside undercooked.. crinkled fries and the sweet potato fries were the only enjoyable side. My hope for this spot is to stop, refresh and rethink the purpose of this business.
