Embers was so fantastic! The food divine, the hospitality impeccable, the service perfection. A fabulous restaurant and experience!

The food was excellent (I recommend the duck) and the service was perfect. Kudos to all the students!

Our staff gathered at NOCHI for our annual yearend celebration. We were pleasantly surprised as we were royally treated to a fabulous meal from beginning to end...one course was better than the next. The service was exceptional. Everyone had a warm smile and accommodating attitude. We unanimously recommend NOCHI with flying colors!

Walking into the open, bright space on the third floor is so warm and welcoming. Our server, Jaxon was attentive and knowledgeable. The food, concept and experience all worked in harmony. Although I found the bisque a bit too thick, the beautifully charred Romaine salad with light lemon dressing elevated a simple dish to highlight new levels of flavors. The gnocchi was pillowy soft and the pear galette with maple ice cream was the perfect was to end a wonderful meal shared with friends. Keep up the great work!

This was our first time attending a NOCHI pop up lunch and it was delightful. From the warm welcoming of the hostess to the professional service of Matt one of the culinary students to the delicious choices for lunch. We chose the flatbread and oyster mushroom grit cakes and were well pleased. We both chose the drum entree with crispy kale and it was served in a beautiful presentation. I had the chocolate dessert which I could have had seconds. I also had the frosted cranberry daiquiri as a drink choice with rum and it was so good I did have another. The event space was excellent. Bring on the third floor you had a nice view of the city. It was an open kitchen so you could observe the students and staff preparing the meals. Can't wait for the next one.

If you havent experienced the NOCHI pop up restaurant, you are truly missing out on an excellent dining experience. It's 5 star quality at a more reasonable price. Food and service was excellent at Embers. They do a new one with each cohort so every 6 months and I plan to get to every one I can. Its truly a lovely dining experience.

It was excellent. If I have one "complaint" it's that the service tends to be a bit slow. I don't mind lingering over a meal. As a matter of fact, I enjoy a relaxing, spaced out dinner. But this is lunch and some people have things they have to get back to doing. All the NOCHI pop ups I've attended have had this little issue. But with an operation such as this, one has to expect certain minor glitches. Other than that, everything was great. The food was a 10 out of 10. Our server was courteous and friendly, as were all the staff. I'll be back for the next one.

The Embers menu was great: appetizers, main entrees and dessert. Loved it! Service however was not good. Very slow. All the other diners that came in at the same time as us had eaten and left before we received our entree. Understand that it's a learning experience for the student so we expect it won't be as smooth as a commercial restaurant. Still we enjoyed the experience!

EMBERS is a limited pop-up restaurant at NOCHI conceived by and managed by the school's students who work different shifts. We went for lunch and were very happy with the menu options and execution, The menu concept is stick season (that bridge between autumn and winter), a menu with grilled, charred and other savory items. The standouts were the grilled mushrooms over a grit "biscuit," and pumpkin square soup and pear galette. Watching the students in action and chatting with them is such as pleasure. We look forward to the next concept!

The menu was inventive and the dishes outstanding. It was a dining experience my friends and I highly recommend. It's hard to believe this is the produce of students. Go for the food, not for the service. The service is provided by the same CULINARY students who developed the concept and menu, and who cooked the food. I rated the service poor, but I'd wait an extra half hour to eat the fabulous food!

This is my third time to eat at a NOCHI pop up. The food is always excellent. I always sit at the bar so that I can watch everyone working in the kitchen. I had the duck and the pear galette and enjoyed both dishes.

We held a professional development at NOCHI last week. Their staff was extremely attentive, and the space was extremely conducive to our training. The training facililies that NOCHI offers are top-notch. I would highly recommend any event at NOCHI.

The preparation of the food was excellent. The salad was tasty as were the fish and the lamb skewers. Spicing was perfect. Great concept. Look forward to the next one.
