This place was amazing. Beautiful restaurant lined with several glass windows. Funky and sophisticated vibe. Amazing service and great food. Can't believe they're closing! PLEASE open another one because that banana cream pie was the best I've ever eaten in my life! Thank you for holding space and allowing us patrons to make memories of a lifetime. Sad to see you closing your doors.

Came here on a Thursday for brunch and it seemed like it was the perfect time! It started getting a little bit busy closer to 1. I ended up getting the chicken and waffles and my sister got the biscuits and gravy. We also got a side of the grits. Can I just say how good and flavorful all of this was. I still cannot believe that this place is closing. Everything had some sort of flavor. My sister and I split the entrees so we could both try both options and it was perfect. The portions were great. Something that was weird is that the gratuity was already included but overall everything was great, our waitress was great. Super attentive. I truly hope they open a location somewhere else because this place will be missed

They're closing so unfortunately our experience sucked.. they had nothing on the menu we wanted and our waiter was quite rude. Very unfortunate because the food is not bad at all.

It was my first visit. It was recommended by a friend. The places is shutting down next week. Most of the items on the brunch menu were not available. We asked for a lunch or dinner option as displayed on the website. We were told at 1 the only option was the brunch menu. But at 2 pm a hour after being there persons were able to order from the lunch or dinner menu.

Great food. Great location. Fantastic service each time I visit. Heartbroken that NOLA Caye is closing its doors this week. Glad to have had an opportunity to visit and enjoy the great NOLA/Caribbean cuisine.

Best brunch I've ever had. Service was great and atmosphere was perfect. This place gets pretty busy so make sure to reserve in advance if you could. We got lucky as a party was unable to make it.

Supple was horrible. I understand yall closing but please let people know whats not available before siting down. No wings, no potatoes, small pieces of oxtails. Very disappointing.

As we were visiting to watch the New Orleans Saints season opener, we had a chance to visit many places. Given that we had a large party and were very hungry, this place provided some of the best service. The food ordered was delicious and delivered on time.

Our first night in NOLA we wanted fish so headed to NOLA Caye since we could walk from our hotel. We entered an almost empty space due to our very early hour for happy hour and then dinner. Seated at a corner table immediately, our server came over soon thereafter. We ordered Paloma's from the happy hour menu while we talked about what food we wanted to order. We decided on the crab and conch fritters and they were so hot and fresh that I could have just made a meal out of these. From the regular menu we ordered the fresh fish Jerk style. The fish was wahoo which we normally love. We also ordered a salad with pineapple vinaigrette. The Wahoo is a dense fish and we've eaten enough to know this but this fish was so dry it was difficult to eat. The server said she would comp it and we could order something else. We chose the ginger salmon and were not disappointed. We had it cooked medium rare and it was hot, flaky and the sauce was well balanced and not too sweet. Delicious! The salad was interesting and tasty with small bits of pineapple, avocado, corn and coconut shavings. A treat because it was so different from most salads. Highly recommend! As a side we ordered the jalapeno grits and these were a percentage accompaniment to our fish and salad. The grits were not creamy, they were cheesy and while the jalapeno wasn't very spicy it was a nice flavor in the grits. Would definitely get any of these dishes again. For dessert, we ordered the banana cream pie and after a mix up of being served the key lime with bananas and caramel on top, we got the correct pie and it was amazing! The caramel under the banana cream and then bananas, whipped cream and caramel sauce in top made it have mired depth than just banana cream. The server was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is delicious and has some interesting twists on the usual and the atmosphere is intimate and decorated with class. A great first meal in NOLA - thank you!

This was a great find in downtown NOLA! The food was excellent and the service very friendly. We enjoyed the oxtail sandwich more than the crispy chicken sandwich, but it was also tasty. The jalapeno-cheddar grits were top notch. The restaurant was fairly quiet but it was a Tuesday night after Thanksgiving, so maybe that's why they were slower. This place is worth checking out!

Nice place with upscale, classy style atmosphere. Food was good. Portions size was great for me - but I am not a big eater. Had the two tacos and two sides.

Quality food. First time trying oxtails with the hubbs. Definitely won’t be the last. We also tried the Oreo ice cream sandwich! Phenomenal! I don’t mind paying for such great food and atmosphere. New favorite spot! Thank you!

I ordered the shrimp and grits and the ginger 72 drink while here. The grits were wonderful, given that it was my first time having them. Well seasoned with the right texture. The environment was clean and comfortable. There are two major areas where this restaurant falls short, and that is in terms of taste and billing practices. The drink I ordered fell short in terms of taste, along with the shrimp. The shrimp was very heavy on the salt and light on the seasoning. The policy states that a 20% gratuity is to be charged to groups of five or more. I came with far less than five people and was still charged this 20%. No one could offer any explanation or solution either. It is despicable and shows the motivations of the establishment.

This place has always been my go-to...unfortunately, I was disappointed because I always ordered the Jamaican Jerk fish dinner. However, they changed the fish from sea bass to ( I forgot the name of the fish), and it was thick and dry. I was not satisfied. Please bring back the sea bass! The manager and hostes were very nice and changed my meal, but my pallets were awaiting my fish.
