Sorry, first time customer. I see you have good reviews, but I stopped by your truck in Slidell today for 3 pm when it was supposed to start, and I ordered the 2 meat platter, cracklin 1/2 lb, and brisket bomb. Was told the fryer wasn't up an running yet so had to cancel cracklin and brisket bomb. Tried to sub for the wings, but that also requires the fryer, so couldn't get that. The two people behind me got their order first, and when I got home, there's no cup of sauce in the box, and I'm not making that drive back to you just for a cup of sauce. Not a good first impression. And yes, I called asking about the cup and was only told to drive back there for it. Not even worth the gas to get there. Picture of order included as proof I'm not some random person complaining without even buying something.

10/10 even the sides are all on point!

Went to the location at Broadside. Tiny little BBQ sandwich, served room temp, burnt to a crisp, for $14, no.sides, 20 min wait with no line. hard no. 2/10.

Incredible BBQ - glad they're here serving Gentilly! Brisket bomb egg rolls, pulled pork sandwich, BBQ beans and mac & cheese were all great. If you enjoyed Crawfish King in this same spot you'll love Cochon King!

First time visiting the restaurant, not the food truck. Food was fresh and cooked to order. Well seasoned. Friendly staff. My daughter and son-in-law loved it as well. We will definitely be going back.

Neighborhood jazz pro's have long known the dynamic duo behind Crawfish King as among the best event-food-truck crawfish and pork (cochon) barbecue in NOLA.Now comes the storefront take away (or outdoor picnic table) on-the-way-to-the-lakefront-park edition on Franklin Avenue. Yum.Our own trombone-slinging-neighbor just two blocks up says his lifelong friend--a certain Marsalis--claims the outfit as among his favorites.

The best seafood ever!!! Crawfish, Crabs, Shrimp everything was perfect. Fast moving line everyone social distancing in the parking lot at Happy Discount on Franklin. Awesome guy boiling and great people in the truck. A+ Operation!

Nola Crawfish King’s food truck at 5301 Franklin Ave. has the BEST hot boiled crawfish around! I also ordered two boil bags which included Dungeness crab, a pound of shrimp, sausage links, corn and potatoes. The food was DELICIOUS and the spicy butter garlic sauce was a fantastic complement to the meal!Social distancing and clean service methods were obviously being practiced. The line moved fast and we were given excellent service! Heavenly crawfish, crab and sides safe, convenient and great vibes... thank you, we will be back!!
