Awesome little coffee shop style cafe with really friendly folks and a great one page menu. It’s a great place to hang out and the menu is an easy on the budget way to take a break from all of the uber-Cajun food. Lots of fun to play the free games while you wait. Nostalgia is a great name since I enjoyed showing all of the arcade games from my childhood to my son.

Cute little spot right next to the Sheraton off of Canal. Went on a Friday night. Nice vibes with the lights dimmed, the music playing not too loud and the vintage VHS playing on the old school oversized TV. There is an area where you can play console games on the TV. There are some vintage arcade games and some card & board games as well. Now let’s talk about food. I am a food lover but what’s more important is customer service. If you have an amazing product or great food but bad service that’s a zero out of five for me but this place…customer service was great. One couple in front of us was ordering when we entered and he (the staff) was patient while we looked over the menu then answered all of our questions respectfully. The food was amazing too. I mean soooo good. We will definitely visit this place again next time we are in town.

Came in for a coffee and a beignet and got to play old school Mrs pacmac whilst we waited for our order. Coffee was great.

Very retro! Go out and support small dinning businesses. The food & coffee was delicious & great customer service.

Great spot! Fast and friendly service, love the decor and games! Avocado toast was delightful!

The worst coffee I’ve ever had—definitely not the oat latte I ordered. The fries with tenders took about 25 minutes to prepare, gosh. The only good thing? The arcade games. 👾 Nothing else..

One of the best coffee shops in New Orleans! Service was excellent! The food and drinks was unmatched to the other places I experienced in Nola! Will be back for sure!

Left without the drink because it had been 45 minutes and I couldn’t wait any longer. $11 for a small iced latte

Toast was soggy, eggs were bland, food took an hour to come out and came out to go boxes. My friend’s coffee took an hour 20 to come out, it was also very expensive. Not worth the price. Beignets came out cold.

Stumbled across this cool little spot while seeking out some breakfast. Food was good, only reason for 4 stars is the avocado toast had a bit too much red pepper tucked under the eggs which surprised my wife with a bit of unexpected heat. Otherwise a nice simple breakfast with lots of cool arcade games and gamer memorabilia. Fun little spot! Check it out!! ?

I am a repeat customer. I am in love with the gumbo and potato salad. I also purchased the Chef's gumbo & dirty mix that I love.

If you are in New Orleans and feeling hungry, stop by 125 Camp Street and say hi to Chef Leon at Nostalgia nola cafe. The food is delicious especially the beignets and the shrimp and grits. The arcade games are free to play. You'll be glad you did!
