Awesome thing has been done here. I always wanted to turn the spot to a PO boy shop.

Great coffee, great pastries, great space, and great service. We are in town for a week and going every morning (some take out, some dine-in). Bulletin board gave us the idea to attend the human horse racing event — quirky and worth it!
Dietary restrictions: There was a pre-made GF oatmeal “Mush” in the fridge, so I didn’t starve as the rest of my group had super-delicious looking bfast treats. There were also a couple of cookies, which looked good, but I didn’t try. I appreciate the effort to have something at least.

ORC is right around the corner from where I live, so I go there often to "work from home". Love that you get 3 shots with a small iced americano. And they really improved their pastry game with Maple and the new front counter display case. However, anyone attempting to do anything other than watch the circus of dogs barking at each other inside the establishment and children screaming/crawling all over the bar counter/stools/running back and forth between the main room and side room (without staff or parent intervention) should stay home. This is not the coffee shop for you if you want to read a book with a *general expectation of ambient coffee shop sound/noise* or *work at your computer*, again, *relatively undistracted/in a general expectation of shared space*. Management needs to communicate expectations with staff regarding policies on disruptive dogs and disruptive kids and/or post signs at the door for pet owners and parents to follow.

Fantastic base in NOLA. Coffee was by far the best cafe in the city. I was a professional barista for 10 years and a cafe owner for 5. Not only was the coffee consistently wayyyy above par, the staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful to my wife and I.
A real gem.
Vegetarian options: Excellent choices. No full meals however.
Dietary restrictions: They have many milks to accommodate most intolerances.

I much prefer a coffee shop that's not a chain, like this one! People are wonderful and the coffee is great and the snacks are delicious. Swing by and give this place a shot. You won't regret it.

I just adore this super cute coffee shop just off Esplanade. They also have cards, jewelry and local art work for sale. The Elderberry Tea Latte is my favorite, my partner really enjoys the Orange Mocha.
