Olive Branch Cafe was A1 in book... That's until my last visit yesterday. I am a LONGTIME customer and would always tell anyone who would listen how great the food quality and service was. Unfortunately, things have clearly changed. I use to order the Blackened Chicken Ceasar very often. High quality chicken breast was the norm. My last two salads were served with DRY chicken bits what seems to be doust in kind of Italian herb seasoning and not at all blackened. It was clearly the frozen chicken from the bag and ran through the oven until all reminisce of moisture cooked away. the cruton pieces were bidgger than the chicken pieces. I am used to them serving actual chicken breast cut and blackened then served super juicy.
When we finally saw our server again as they mostly hung out in the back, I expressed my concerns about the food. She offered to have the cooks remake the salad. They brought our the wrong salad covered in bacon. Unfortunatly, I could not accept it as I do not eat pork. They remade it again only to bring out more dry chicken and less of a potion salad that they normally serve. I left disappointed and saddened because they quality they offered our neighborhood seems to be on a decline.

Delicious fresh food! Cheerful & sweet staff, especially Sara! She is amazing. Very filling food. Great prices for the amount you’re given. I got the redfish pasta and it’s the best fish I’ve had in New Orleans! And! Great music! ???

I am regular here at least once a week. I usually get the house salad and add mushrooms, blackened shrimp avocado ? boiled eggs etc. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The pizzas are freshly made and excellent. They have fresh pizza ? you will never be able to eat Domino’s or Pizza Hut again after dining here ? 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this place.

Olive Branch Cafe is one of my fav restaurants on the westbank & I’ve been going there for 5+ years now. It’s like the perfect little hidden gem.The food is ALWAYS fresh & tasty. The staff is always super kind, patient, and welcoming. I’ve dinned in, I’ve ordered over the phone, always a pleasant experience. I absolutely ADORE this place!

The consistency of flavor never fails me at this Olive Branch! I am never disappointed! ??Thanks for being consistent in your ingredients! I drive past one of your establishments to go to Algiers restaurant! Nothing like satisfied taste buds and stomach!

This is the cutest lil gem on the west bank in Algier or Grenta. I'm not sure, but the food was fresh, and the service was A1.

Consistently terrific food. Gorgeous salads, excellent pastas and pizzas, and delicious bread pudding and cheesecakes. Friendly service and a cozy place. Generous portions. Our favorite restaurant on the West Bank.

Low key and small bistro style cafe with a cosy atmosphere. Prices are good. Strange and delicious food: savory meat stuffed cannolis, shrimp and corn soup, and giant cobb salads. Friendly wait staff. Conveniently like cated near Our Lady of Wisdom Retirement and Rehab. Not for parties of more than six (4 and 6 seater tables).
