Catherine's food is AMAZING!!!! However, the hours of operation was sketchy before COVID-19. Not sure what it is now. Great personality, small dining area (two small tables), promotes other small businesses, accepts credit cards, real soul food. Not a tourist trap. Call and get you a plate you will not regret any choice. My favorite is stuffed fish, peas, potato salad, and that darn mac n cheese! Oh, I need a plate now. This place rocks! Best place we ate in New Orleans! The food is amazing and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. Try the seafood stuffed fish!! Will definitely be going back next time I’m in New Orleans.

Open Hands isn't located here anymore or maybe the name changed. This location is currently MKM Creations.My review of MKM Creations:Excellent food. Actually, will be one of the best meals and experiences ever(or in a long time). At least try the loaded bake potatoe as a side. It is prepared kinda like a specialty prepared mash potatoe side it all the fixings. It is delicious. I ordered the shrimp plate. I'm eating here again at least once or twice before our vacay ends.
