This is my go-to spot for sushi in the city. While there are several more premium options for sushi, they come with premium price tags. None of them hold a candle to Origami in terms of value. The menu here is extensive, so it will be easy to find something for everyone in your party. The rolls are pretty standard, but all are good. Their nigiri in particular stands out for being excellent yet being almost half the price of some of the other more hyped sushi locations in the city. Their cocktails are great as well.

Seafood Nabeyaki Udon is excellent. Caviar Scallops only "so so." Russian waitress Elena is quite nice, lovely. I thought she was German but I was wrong. Lol!

Came here with some friends and was amazed at how good the sushi was. Food took a little long to come out but it was absolutely worth the wait.

This is the best Sushi in town, I can't even tell you how amazing this place is. A friend took me here for dinner a while back and I was just blown away. Carter was our server, he is too good, very attentive and proffesional. I will definetly be back.

I went to origami for lunch today and it was a amazing experience. It’s a great location and a awesome vibe. One of the owners actually came and hung out with us for wile. We tried almost every appetizer on the list, and 5 stars on them all. The popcorn shrimp and the yellowfin collar were both amazing. I had the best roll I’ve ever tried, called the Godzilla roll . I highly recommend this establishment if your looking for the best sushi in town.

Sad, food we had was good but took over 40 min to get one roll. Didn't get the edamame we ordered until after one roll was delivered. Told them we needed to go after waiting over 1 hr after ordering. I guess they have a new system and are having issues with food orders. However, everyone around us got their food. I get issues with a new system but no one even checked on us, they didn't know we hadn't gotten food! That is the big issue, they should have noticed food not going out to our table. PS-Miso soup was not good.

Nara Wood Blood Orange had me at hi… Origami Japanese Restaurant is a fantastic spot tucked into the Ferret Street corridor. Dishes abound with favorites and original combinations. Do not roll out without trying the signature cocktails or chop to it and stick to the soups and veggie options.
