Great little neighborhood bar.

Wendy was kind and hilarious. Very welcoming in a neighborhood bar with mostly locals. Lots of helpful recommendations.

I hear the slide guitar, the bourbon flows just right,

Visited a friend working in New Orleans and found this little gem in the Garden District great service and great spot to have as drink! Stayed in the neighborhood for a few days Pete's was only 3 blocks away!

Great little hidden bar back in the neighborhood. Definitely worth seeking out. They have popups on a regular basis, you should definitely check them out.

The Pete's folk are really nice the drinks are cold the atmosphere is friendly and to top it off they have a farmers market with local vendors from 5 to 7:00 on Mondays during happy hr with a very neighborhood vibe. Some of the nicest people I've met in New Orleans and they can mix a mean drink as well!

Ps: Don't skip the red beans n rice

Been there twice. First time was after Iris and Tucks and I fell and scraped my knee and limped there with my friends and the bartender gave my friend a firs aid kit to patch me up. I took a shot of whiskey and left because I was embarrassed about just bleeding all over the place. Second time was last weekend. I went with a friend that's a regular. The bartender came from the behind the bar and greeted me with a handshake and a smile. Patio was nice and had a grilled cheese pop up. Great vibes. I drinks were fine I had a gin and tonic and the wells gin was exactly what you wan for a g & t.

Pete Scherer was my great uncle. I remember when I was a little girl my great grandma (Pete's sister, Irene) and my nanny (Eileen) used to take me to the bar to see Uncle Pete every Saturday after dancing school. It really is great to see that the place he loved so much is still open. ❤

Went last week. They had bingo on Tuesday, but we showed up too late to play. Seems like a great crowd! They had a popup in the side patio and seems like a fun locals bar.

Vegetarian options: The night we went, the food was vegetarian and was AMAZING! They have different options each day. We will definitely be back. Cheers?

Phenomenal local dive bar

Wendy is amazing. Had a great time and enjoyed the pop up Chicago beef sandwiches for an afternoon snack. Awesome place to escape the tourist traps.
