The happy hour appetizers are delish! And generous portions. Can’t beat the drink deals either. Great “ski lodge” atmosphere and family friendly in dining room although bar is adulty cocktaily vibe, so something for everyone here.

Expresso Martini, pecan crusted catfish with chesy grits and blackened redfish with lump crabmeat. Green beans and potatoes

Really excellent food and we had a large party who sampled six dishes - the catfish was excellent, as was the ravioli, the cotton candy on a mannequin head was bizarre but so fun, we'll definitely be back

Not a fan! Had chips with three kinds of dip which taste like fancy mayonnaise and fancy ketchup. Ordered the Mega meat plate which was $48 looked good on the picture. Didn’t look like the pic and none had flavor, very bland and tasteless. Heard good things about this place so we drove a good ways to get there, but left very disappointed.

Dislike the automatic 20% gratuity added to Sunday Brunch. It leads to mediocre service. Food was good. Minor issues. Poached eggs were over cooked left the dish a bit dry. The few times server came by she was cordial and nice but no hustle or sense of hospitality.

Nice patio area in the front and fun decor inside. Food is pricey but with good flavors. Recommend the pimento cheese and bread pudding.

Portions on appetizer onion rings a little small but the brisket nacho's were really good. Oysters were really small but tasty on the oyster bennedict. The burgers were also good but a not fried or I would recomend.

I will start with the good, the She Crab Soup and Hangover plate were definitely worth going back for. The brisket was very pleasant. The kids chicken strips were also good. The bad: the bartender was very rude, the server was attentive but just didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. The burger was ok, but could be much better if they seasoned it and didn’t cook the heck out of it. They portray it as a “smash burger,” it’s not. Because of this, they say it can’t be cooked any other way but nuked. It actually could be cooked medium despite what management coaches its servers to say. The kids grilled cheese would have been better if it was actually cooked. The Bloody Mary was far from acceptable. I swapped it for a beer and they had to change the tap, eventually brought me something that resembled more of a White Russian than a beer (see photo). It’s worth mentioning that the manager was the one who dropped this “beer” to the table and before he did so, he took a hard look at it but dropped it anyway. The server is the one who noticed it wasn’t right and took it away. All in all this place has potential. A tip for management, reevaluate the bad apples you have on staff and please get the burger right. You’re in Metairie where there are numerous places with great burgers, if you can’t compete then just take it off the menu.

Smoked chili rim is the needed touch for the margarita. Josh throws down.

Bleu cheese topped beef debris atop kettle cooked chips… ingenious. Short rib ravioli and Demi glacé.., Bistro Big ! No lakeview vibe like it… Atmosphere is way unique! Bon appetite! Service is spot on every time I’ve been!

Not a bad bite had. Food, cocktails, service on point! Swanky fun vibe with bistro cuisine upgrades. Great for a date, or ya lil family crewe. A true lakeview place feel, with food and cocktails a touch above:)

Service was great. Family friendly environment. Would avoid getting their main entrees and stick to the appetizer and burgers. We ordered the steaks and fish entrees which did not impress us unfortunately. 48 dollar steaks were as flat as cardboard. Sorry not worth it!

The food, the drinks, the ambience, and the customer service is always top tier. This is a lowkey laid back restaurant with great food choices. And the drinks are full of flavor.
