Oz in New Orleans is one of those vibrant nightlife spots you have to visit. It's lively energetic and a great place to dance the night away. The music keeps the crowd moving and the atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. The cocktails are well made the people are friendly the bartenders are attentive and fun to interact with. Whether out with friends or exploring the city's nightlife is a great place to stop for a memorable evening.

An exchange I had with the doorman 1:50am Saturday (morning), Jan 24.
“No backpacks”
“At all?”
“I’ll watch it for you but it’ll cost you.”
“I’m good”
and then I left

Tragic gay club with tragic drag shows it's not worth the entry fee unless there isn't one.

I was treating my friends and fiancé to New Orleans when we decided to go down bourbon st. My fiancé saw oz and that the establishment was having a drag show we stayed for a few performances when I decided to go get another beer from the bar. This was our second stop of the night the next 2 hours where a blur of the trash can outside of oz and the side walk woke up the next morning still sick and was that way for the remainder of the trip. Moral of the story if you wanna get roofied this is the place to go

We stopped in for a drink. Hayden took great care of us. I have been here before with some of my (grown) kids, and they've never forgotten it. Come in, if you're in the area and ask for Hayden!

This pseudo-comedian was the most boring thing in the world, if you need time for the drags change their clothes just play music and not this pathetic show that it was so sad

The Trans Queen who was working on October 15 is very rude she needs to work on her customer service skills I don't know if she was tried because she was the DJ and the janitor and bartender that day. And Sunday night I experienced the same attitude...........

Great venue, terrible host.

We came ready for a fun night out, and the venue itself is awesome. Drinks were good, bartenders were friendly, music was great. But the host, JoJo, completely ruined the energy.

She was rude from the moment she walked on stage. Not witty or playful, just straight-up mean and dismissive to the crowd. Instead of hyping people up, she talked down to everyone and relied on sarcasm instead of actual entertainment.

On top of that, her whole look was sloppy. Stained tights and worn-out shoes are not a vibe when you’re supposed to be the star of the show.

The staff and venue deserve a better performer. I’d come back for another show, but definitely not if JoJo is hosting. She killed the mood and turned a fun night into something we couldn’t wait to leave.
