We ordered a few small plates with cocktails and everything was phenomenal. We would highly recommend the Lemongrass Fried Chicken Gumbo! Will be back

The service was so bad that it made the atmosphere bad as well. The only good thing was the food.
Our server was not friendly. At all.

Had a solo dinner here tonight and received fantastic food and service. The beef fat griddled waygu and potato pave were sensational - pair it with the corn babies for an over the top experience. The bar was equally wonderful; the Autumn Oracle was especially noteworthy. Service was so loving and friendly; I lingered far longer than necessary just to savor and converse. If the persimmon ice cream is available, GET IT.

PS — I see racists and homophobes have review-bombed these folks, so bring your queer dollars and support the family as they serve up amazing eats and inclusivity.
I think the quality of the food was great but the service could have used some improvement. The restaurant was crowded so my guest and I sat at the bar. The restaurant has the prices of a 5 star location but the atmosphere of a dive bar.

This was a wonderful experience all around! Staff were very friendly (and busy!). We were able to sit in the back kitchen bar and watch the chefs hard at work crafting all of these dishes by hand- I definitely recommend doing this! Given this, understand it takes time to get the food out! The food was delicious with unique flavors and my husband enjoyed the cocktails. This was a great side step from the typical NOLA menus.

I recently hosted a brunch for 15 guests during my wedding weekend at Palm and Pine and I cannot rave enough about the food, service, and atmosphere. Every person who came absolutely loved the food and it ended up being the perfect place for my family and friends to reconnect. Their private dining space was lovely and Amarys, the owner, made it so easy to set up. I so wish I could remember the name of our waitress but she was so amazing with such a large group. I cannot wait to come back during my next trip.

I’ve had Palm&Pine on my list of places to try for a while, and I’m so glad I finally checked it out. The food was PHENOMENAL. It’s a shame this place didn’t get a recommendation or BIB Gourmand from Michelin. The atmosphere is quirky and laid back, perfect for an easy-going, slow-paced meal. The cocktails were great (especially the Back in the Pulse), and service was fun and personable. We sat at the kitchen counter and got to watch all the food being made. We tried several things from the menu with the TX BBQ shrimp being the biggest standout followed by the hot sausage stuffed dates and the lemongrass fried chicken gumbo. We tried the banana curry (!) ice cream for dessert. It was such a unique combination of sweet and savory, and we loved it, too. While we were still in our seats, we recommended the restaurant to 3 of our friends and will continue to recommend it to everyone. It quickly became one of our favs and we will be back multiple times throughout the year to check out their rotating seasonal menu. I can’t recommend Palm&Pine enough.

The Cajun Fried Chicken Biscuit is a total winner.
The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with just the right amount of Cajun spice flavorful without being overpowering.
The biscuit is buttery, flaky, and melts in your mouth, pairing perfectly with the spicy chicken.
Hands down one of the best chicken biscuits I’ve ever had.
Note: everything was made from scratch so it takes some time to get your dish but it’s definitely worth it.

We had several unique dishes here and they all tasted great. Our waiter was very helpful with food recommendations and we enjoyed everything he suggested. The menu items are a bit unique so consider trying something more different than food you normally would.

Stumbled on this place and walked in on a whim. Glad we did! The boiled peanut chaat and butter beans were amazing. Apple cider pie was an amazing way to end the meal.

Just spent a week in New Orleans and had a ton of amazing food, but this was our favorite. We were struggling to find something in the quarter that didn’t feel super hectic and then came across this which was right outside all the craziness. The vibe and staff were both great. It was a little loud up front but we sat in the back at the kitchen counter which was perfect. Everything we ate was simply delicious. They did such a good job of mixing traditional New Orleans foods with the fresh herby flavors of Asian cuisines. Dessert was also 10/10. We also felt that for the quality and quantity the prices were very reasonable. So happy we found this place and will definitely go back.
