Hateful owner, I’m sure the rest of his staff are the same - birds of a feather! If you have any decency, avoid this place!
Delightful dinner. Inventive and well executed menu. Hot sausage stuffed dates, grilled watermelon and swordfish crudo shined . Cocktails were tasty and Doc provided excellent service. Will return.
Disgusting comments from your head chef.
The food was amazing and the service rivaled the food. Everything that came out was better than the last and I didn’t think that was possible. The boudin balls were delicious, the chilaquiles…yummmm, chips perfectly crisp and the sauce was delightful but the potatoes…those potatoes are unfair to all potatoes out there. It’s like other potatoes aren’t even trying. I will dream about those potatoes for the rest of my life. On top of that, the service was wonderful. We were treated like old friends the minute we walked in. We will absolutely be back.

Innovative menu, tapas style, in a very casual setting, with fabulous table service. Kitchen is on their game, for certain. Overall: well managed and efficiently run.
If you are in New Orleans, and you find yourself wanting a Caribbean and New Orleans food fusion experience, then by all means, RUN to Palm & Pine.
And if you should find yourself disappointed, recheck your navigation as you've likely dined elsewhere.
Too good to be missed!

Unfortunately, the food at this place is very confusing and extremely small portions for what you pay for. The conflicting flavors of each dish aggravates the pallet. After spending $200, we were still hungry and had to go elsewhere to supplement our meal for the night. When we expressed our concerns to the staff about the dessert, she just brushed it off and insinuated that we probably ate too much and didn’t want to finish the cheesecake even though we said this was not a cheesecake nor was it delicious. This is not the service you would expect that a fine dining restaurant.

Amazing. They know how to stack flavors. Every bite pops! Huancaina, crab claws, crudo, and the texas tartar. Yum!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we ate was delicious!! The drinks were creative but still familiar and the dessert was the perfect finish to an elegant meal. We even received a glass of champagne on the house to celebrate our anniversary!
