1 star review because the bar tender was rude as hell. Guy maybe like mid 40’s had a swayed back haircut 200 lbs and about 5 foot 11, didn’t catch his name so all I got is a description. At first kept telling us he would be right with us, but took forever. Gave me attitude about how I order my drinks… thought New Orleans was supposed to be open to people and their uniqueness. I always order my drinks the same way and no other bar tender down there gave me grief about it except this dude.

So glad we went here for dinner, our server Don was personable, attentive and nice. The food was good and filling at a reasonable price and the famous Hurricane drink was tasty ?. Definitely stop in

Love the history. Bar has been here since 1940 and their hurricane is amazing. Little strong so I added a little extra sprite. Oh and their hurricane is on tap which is amazing. Across the hall they have a piano bar and a court yard where there is a restaurant . Highly recommend

The best Hurricanes in New Orleans! Not to mention the courtyard atmosphere is fantastic and it’s a great place for live music and dueling pianos. A must go

We went here a couple times during our trip.. many different options from sitting at the different bars, the courtyard, getting a table, etc. Very good service. I also enjoyed their food. Jambalaya was probably my favorite. Was not a fan of the Hurricane.. too sweet for my liking.. just my opinion though. Definitely recommend stopping in!!

Was directed towards the back area to find a table, sat down and was approached by a rude, hateful, hostess, that thought she could talk to us like we were dogs. We got up and left and went somewhere else to eat. A restaurant is only as good as its employees.. was really awesome the day before when we stopped in for drinks.. it takes 1 bad egg to ruin the whole batch..

Cannot recommend this place enough for drinks and live music! The courtyard is such a cool place as well to hang out. There is a ton of seating, so even on a Friday night you should be able to grab something. They are famous for their hurricanes and they didn’t disappoint. I’ll warn you, they are STRONG!After drinks in the courtyard, we headed inside to the area with the dueling pianos. If you’re not there early it’s standing room, but we eventually snagged a table. Servers were attentive and the musicians were awesome! It was a fun night!
