I genuinely think this is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. So good and so consistent, and always excellent service. The braised beef ragu is absolutely fantastic.

The place was a wonderful, inviting spot to meet two new colleagues for dinner. The server was super knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. The food was delicious. I had the braised short rib entree that very tender and filling. My colleagues enjoyed their food as well including some shrimp and a boudin duck. The bread basket offers 3 different types of bread, all fresh and flavorful. It's a small place and can get loud at times. Recommend reservations.

Ate there last night! Great service! Food was fabulous! Loved the pecan crusted fish! Get the crème brule you won't regret it!! Gnocchi was amazing! Loved that it was in an old house in a neighborhood!! Will definitely be back

We went here for brunch a few years ago which was delicious. So we decided to have a dinner date night. It's a perfect place for a date night. We sat by the window which was very nice. I had a Pinot Grigio wine which was very good. We started the meal with the delicious bread basket. I would recommend that if you like bread. Our entrees were the paneed pork chop and crusted redfish. These entrees were amazing. We will definitely be back. Our waiter, Kaiden, was so nice and helpful when we were deciding on our entrees.

Love this place! A group of four of us were in town visiting for the weekend doing the food tour. We came across writing to this place and it sounded great. It certainly lived up to expectations. The pecan encrusted drum was excellent. I had the beef short ribs. they were, cubed with a light smattering of a macaroni style pasta in when I think it is a a beer and red wine reduction sauce. I'm eating it was tender and extraordinary! Our group, I'll give this place a resounding thumbs up! The service was great and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. We will definitely come back here next time.

Everyone, and I mean everyone raved about Patois. As a surprise my husband took me there for my birthday and he researched this place. The bar experience was very good. We ordered, the chef would like you to order everything all at once...hmmm. The deviled eggs had a sushi vibe to them, very nice surprise. The pate delicious. The charred broccoli was far from charred and the potatoes were the best part of the meal. The steak was chewy and subpar. We both ordered dessert and the ice cream was good, the creme brûlée better than average. Then they brought a slice of cake with a candle...forward thinking would have said bring that instead of the creme brûlée, I couldn't possibly eat 2 desserts. So we paid the reasonable check and I picked up the to go box with the cake and was met with a lovely crawling insect. Not quite the dining experience I was expecting. Very quaint place with a french atmosphere, goes we picked the wrong night. Oh and it wasn't crowded on a Friday night with empty tables.

Wonderful brunch as usual. We love their Bloody Mary’s. The bread basket is so yummy. You really can’t wrong with anything on the menu. The mussels is a huge serving for an appetizer. All servings are generous. Service is great and the restaurant is charming.

Food was good. I made a note with the reservation that it was a birthday and requested a surprise dessert… nothing came. So that was a let down.

I was a single party looking for a quaint place with outdoor sitting and Patois fit the bill. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The flavoring for their dishes was excellent and the portions were perfect for me. I will say that I prefer when there is free bread for the table but other than that, enjoyed it and would recommend!!
