Great spot right off of Bourbon St, but is feels great to be away from the bustle of the crowd. Ok wine selection, but better than a lot of other places in the quarter. Bartender was authentic and engaging, which was great for us. No table service, so expect to order and grab your drinks at the bar, but a great spot to hang out for a bit.

Stopped in for an afternoon drink. The bar wasn’t busy, just a few lively groups, and I grabbed a seat at the bar. The male bartender was friendly and attentive, and got me my first two drinks with no issues.
After a little while, the female bartender came on shift, and the male bartender stepped away to take care of some tasks. While I waited with an empty glass, she chatted with other guests at the bar but never acknowledged me or checked to see if I needed anything. I sat there for about 15 minutes without being approached or offered a refill.
The female bartender later picked up my signed check and definitely glanced at the tip line, which let me know I hadn’t gone unnoticed, just unattended.
I enjoy spots that feel welcoming, especially when I’m out solo, and I had hoped this would be one of them. I also love a good sparkling wine or champagne cocktail, so the menu had potential. But sitting that long without service felt off-putting and made me want to take the rest of my afternoon elsewhere.
It’s always nice to find places worth returning to or recommending. Unfortunately, this won’t be one of them.

We stopped in for a quiet place to enjoy some drinks away from the craziness of Bourbon. Very classy place with a bar and seating in an interest courtyard, the bar area, a front seating area/lobby, and a front area under a tree. The front seating area/lobby couch area was the perfect quiet place to enjoy a drink and a chat, it was nice and quiet. My vodka tonic was very light on the vodka, kind of disappointing. My husband’s beers were cold. Restrooms were clean and stocked.

A well marketed wine bar with average wine options, an average staff that have little to no enthusiasm and is overrun with mean spirited locals that make one feel as though you have invaded their personal space…. And an owner who is too busy currying their favor… (God forbid lady that you put your rat dog in your lap and let a paying customer have a seat. And Patrick, would it hurt you to walk about and talk to ALL your guests?). Definitely a one time / last time experience for us. Sad.
