Eccentric but charming little bar. Very crowded and the (possibly bachelorette) party sitting in front of the doors to the courtyard were not polite about letting patrons through. We started here on a cocktail tour of NOLA for some rum punch. Phenomenal taste and presentation.
Great spot right off of Bourbon St, but is feels great to be away from the bustle of the crowd. Ok wine selection, but better than a lot of other places in the quarter. Bartender was authentic and engaging, which was great for us. No table service, so expect to order and grab your drinks at the bar, but a great spot to hang out for a bit.
Stopped in for an afternoon drink. The bar wasn’t busy, just a few lively groups, and I grabbed a seat at the bar. The male bartender was friendly and attentive, and got me my first two drinks with no issues.
After a little while, the female bartender came on shift, and the male bartender stepped away to take care of some tasks. While I waited with an empty glass, she chatted with other guests at the bar but never acknowledged me or checked to see if I needed...
