We like Patrick’s Bar Vin, a nice laid back wine bar with a good mix of locals and tourists. The place is geared as a wine bar but they have a full service cocktail bar also, if you prefer. They do not regularly serve food here, as a service but do occasionally have parties where food may be present. A good place for conversation and fun.

A small, wonderful, dimly lit bar with great ambiance, tucked away with a view of a courtyard and fountain. The bartenders are very nice when it’s slow but choose to cater to the regulars rather than visitors when it’s busy, which is somewhat understandable. The Sazerac that Ulysses made me was outstanding and he showed me his own twist on the recipe which I loved. Had a really nice time stopping by here for a glass of wine! Loved how cozy it felt in there and since locals showed us the spot, could tell it’s a special spot for people in New Orleans.
