Peewee’s Crabcakes On The Go

So good! I planned a girls trip to Nola and I had Peewee’s in my must eat just after following them on instagram. My girls and I ordered basically at least everything on the menu lol. Some not pictured below but there wasn’t one thing I didn’t like. We also did a huge Uber eats order at that and everything was accurate which was surprisingly. I recommend

Wow the crab cakes are definitely phenomenal. Come here for those.We got three things from here:- Crabcake: get it, so good- Tacos & Wings Combo: I'd skip the tacos, did not look even close to the picture posted, shrimp and crawfish had the freezer taste and tortilla wasn't great either. Ranch fries needed salt- Double fish with seafood pasta and potato salad: fish breading was great, but wanted some sort of sauce like tartar to dip in. Seafood pasta had great flavor, very little seafood. Potato salad was okayWe'd probably come back again to try some of the other seafood dishes. Wouldn't order anything we ordered today except the crabcakes.

I do not normally write reviews for food or products, however the food at Peewee’s is over the top amazing and if I could give 100 stars I would.My family and I are in New Orleans for 24 hours and I have been wanting to try soft shell crab. We made a game plan to search for restaurants with soft shell crab. We found one and decided to try that after taking a quick nap at the hotel. After being awake for more than 24 hours and taking a very quick nap we decided we wanted to just do delivery and stay in our hotel room for the evening. We hopped on DoorDash and I found peewees. Boy am I glad we did. We have a group of four and we were all starving because we hadn’t eaten since breakfast. We ordered the jumbo fried shrimp, chicken and sausage jambalaya, fried catfish dinner, and a crawfish pasta. Everything was delicious and above and beyond any expectation that we had for the food that we were going to receive. The bonus is the crabcakes are delicious and savory and the softshell crab is something I now know I love. We have a new favorite restaurant now when we visit New Orleans. Peewees forever!Note: my husband has a friend He works with from New Orleans. He said he may walk in to work when we get back from vacation and pop his buddy in the face for not telling him about peewees. my husband is a very non violent. Oh my, this was yummy. My husband had this place on his food list to visit while in New Orleans and we were not disappointed.Husband ordered a crab cake and the gumbo. Wowzers, the gumbo was flavorful and a nice amount of heat. Crab cakes were delicious also.I ordered a chicken tortilla salad because was just salad hungry. Got back to our room and my salad was the seafood tacos. Can't say that I wasn't disappointed at first but one bite and I was over the salad mistake.Would definitely recommend them for some legit NOLA food.

This is one of my favorite meals from them. I get it like twice a week. Jumbo fried shrimp. The shrimp comeswith a special sauce. & omg it melts in my mouth. The jambalaya is my favorite I wish they sold it as side by itself. . I have tried a few other things from them and this is by far my top two dishes I crave. Give them a try they have two locations in New Orleans.

Food was average… long wait time (only one other table) staff was friendly. Music was too loud… for the prices expected a better ambience.

This is the worse place iv ever eaten. The customer service was horrible. everyone had attitudes. We were told they didt have snow crab and later shrimp.. but another table waaay after us got loads of shrimp.. The food a few of us got wasn't cooked enough. It was the worst and very hot. Just unacceptable all around....

That was the best crab cake i have seen i been in Nola u got a alot of food an everything is on point i loved my food

The food was AMAZING! I ordered the crabby pasta and I NEVER ordered pasta from restaurants and I'm so glad I did. The food didn't take long to prepare either. This location is a in and out location but it had one long bench, maybe 2 for you to sit in and wait. The outside didn't look like much, it even looked like it was in a bad area but I'm telling you TAKE A CHANCE and try this place, you won't regret it!

I tried this place for the 1st time yesterday and OMG! I'm going back ASAP! Great service, great prices, great food! Old Gentily rd. location.

We ate here last Wednesday. The staff was not attentive and kept getting our orders wrong, the music was so loud that the staff couldn’t actually hear what we were ordering, the food was not hot when it was brought to us, the boiled shrimp were over cooked. This place is not what I imagined it to be. Maybe it was because it was close to closing time but we were definitely not impressed.

Ordered through Uber Eats- the crab cake deviled eggs and Henny glazed shrimp. Delicious! Highly recommend. If you’re in NOLA, check them out. Delivery was fast and food was delicious!

Finally made it but not overly sold on the hype. Firstly, customer service is HORRIBLE! The darker skinned girl was the worst..for some unknown reason, her attitude was disgusting from the moment I walked in. Corporate America doesn’t deal w/that..anywho, very pricey but the food came out quickly. I ordered the southern fried catfish special, which was overly salty. I do like that they leave the potato skin/what appeared to be potato skin under the potato salad. Catfish was a bit soggy but was good. The pasta was the saltiest out of everything in the plate. The lack of Customer service seems to be the topping on the cake, which is a turn off and does the opposite of retaining customers. I’m shocked by how underwhelmed I am by this visit…

Our waitress Ty was awesome great customer service and the food was delicious ?,if you haven't go see for yourself...

The food was good. We ordered the seafood Disaster to try a little of everything. The donuts in the bakery were pretty good too (not sure if donuts are still available at this location).
