I was desperate for a ‘real’ latte coffee that tasted like a latte (not milky or filtered/drip coffee). This is best coffee I have tasted in the French Quarter, New Orleans. My husband enjoyed a double espresso. I could smell the coffee. We also enjoyed a blueberry muffin. This cafe is for those who appreciate coffee.

Had a nice experience in this coffee shop. Left for a walk and came back 45 minutes later and asked to use the restroom. The employee said, “umm, the restroom is for customers only.” We pointed out we had been there as paying customers just a little while before. “Well, I wasn’t here, so…” was her reply (though she had been there earlier, sitting at a table). Amazing way to turn a positive experience into a negative one. “Perk Coffee and Community” 🤡

I had a Large Latte and it was really good. Most places it feels like you are drinking hot milk but at Perk, you could taste the coffee. Well worth going here, over other places

Perk is exactly what you’re looking for when traveling to NOLA. Their menu is simple, straightforward, and executed with warm hospitality.
The environment is cute without being kitschy, and feels like it has been in the space far longer than 8 months. The a/c is perfect to escape the heat, and the owner is a lovely conversationalist.
