I was desperate for a ‘real’ latte coffee that tasted like a latte (not milky or filtered/drip coffee). This is best coffee I have tasted in the French Quarter, New Orleans. My husband enjoyed a double espresso. I could smell the coffee. We also enjoyed a blueberry muffin. This cafe is for those who appreciate coffee.
Perk is exactly what you’re looking for when traveling to NOLA. Their menu is simple, straightforward, and executed with warm hospitality.
The environment is cute without being kitschy, and feels like it has been in the space far longer than 8 months. The a/c is perfect to escape the heat, and the owner is a lovely conversationalist.

I love this spot. Not a far walk from my gym & it's locally owned. I love an iced americano so that's what I had. The pastries looked good but I didn't have any just yet.
