Small, quaint BBQ place in the heart of the French Quarter. Wonderful flavors with a nice presentation. Brisket was perfectly slow cooked. We were pleasantly surprised! Highly recommended.

I love some great bqq on vacation. The brisket was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Beans were nothing special and tasted like were out of a can, They we're out of Mac & Cheese and that was a bummer. BBQ sauce was good.

We stumbled upon this place and saw that it had pretty good reviews and it looked kinda quaint so we decided to have dinner there. The girl at the counter was not very friendly at all. We ordered the pulled pork meal and the gumbo. The pulled pork was average. The Gumbo was flavorful but very salty and overpriced for the portion.

The issue is the prices are high for canned beans, tasteless coleslaw, cold meat and fries that are in bits and pieces. Not much is authentic to New Orleans flavors. A can of soda was $4, Brisket sandwich $18. Sandwich was good but subpar to to hype of being a BBQ joint. I would not recommend this place for authentic NOLA food.

Cashier is super rude. She is making the business hurt. She clearly doesn’t want to work there.

On vacation with my family in the French quarters. The kids said they wanted BBQ so I looked for a place n this popped up. Got there and for some reason the lady at the counter with dreads had an attitude. Asked her how many pieces of brisket comes to any order she said 3 to 4. Then I asked about the ribs she said 4 to 5 comes to an order. Also asked her if the beans contain pork her response oh I don’t know I haven’t seen any thing in them. So my wife and I ordered 3 of each platters thinking that would be enough for us and 5 kids. Then we realized there wasn’t any space for us to sit so we told the young lady the orders were to go. When they were ready she still put them on dine in plates. Her attitude got even worse when we said we had asked you to make them to go. There was a guy there I think was the chef very cool he sold us on the place because I was really close to asking for a refund. Because I just spend $150 on 6 plates of food n they look like kids serving of sides n the amount of meat. The worst part is they charged $9 for fries and gave me a mini portion. The food was ok. We really could have done without it.

After a few days of overrated and disappointing seafood this place was a welcome surprise. Great BBQ and the beans were a winner!!!

The brisket had decent flavor, but was dry and not very warm. Macaroni was alright. No tap water available, and the lady said “I wouldn’t wanna drink the tap water here”. Hmm. Besides that, price was steep.

Portions served extremely small for the price and apart from the fries it wasn't even good.

Food was average but the price was way above average. Brisket was decent as was mac and cheese. I didn't eat beans or slaw nor would they allow me to change for fries even at a cost. The gumbo was good flavour but way overpriced for size. I had better BBQ elsewhere for way less of a price the previous day. Counter lady was not real friendly or helpful.
