DO NOT charge to your room if staying at Royal Sonesta. Employees will make fraudulent charges. I came here twice for coffee and charged it to my room- both times they billed me for extra food items. Unfortunately, you probably won't realize until you check out and then only if you look closely on the folio.

Loud music and lukewarm coffee first thing in the morning. No thank you.

Ugh what a relief. Tired walking and not hungry. Had lunch reservations and just needed a place to sit down with coffee while waiting for the lunch reservation. Glad this place was available and spacious. Had power outlets. Not very busy compared to those near Jackson sq you dont have anywhere to sit down and be comfortable.

Service quick and knowledgeable. Muffins are big and they heat them up for you.

Service was not great. Advertised cold brew coffees with cold foam, only had whipped cream. Asked for dark roast coffee, got plain black coffee. Website advertised special drinks, none available at this location.

This place is slow, understaffed, and overpriced. It also doesn't open until 7am on the weekends. I went here a few days in a row, and they were always out of something. There are other coffee places in the area, and I recommend anything other than here.

The machines were down for granitas and frothing but the mocha latte, cappuccino and chocolate croissant were amazing fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the stop on a busy morning.

They were out of everything except plain black coffee. Including lids and sugar. That, I was ok with. However, the woman who worked there was extremely rude. I’m a petty laid back person and not easily offended. I have worked in customer service for most of my life so I never write bad reviews and always give the workers grace. This ladies behavior and attitude were unacceptable. I’m staying in the royal Sonesta and was excited to have a coffee shop downstairs. However, I refuse to buy anything else from them because of the way that employee speaks to customers.

We wanted a couple frozen coffee drinks and this location doesn't make them. I'm guessing some PJ's in hotels and other places don't offer their full line of drinks. We decided to skip it. We enjoyed looking around and I took a few picks. We didn't bother to ask because the menus didn't list frozen options.

The owner assaulted a homeless veteran with a service dog all while the veteran was a big tipper and spent about 50 bucks everyday because of my service dog

Coffee is good. Service is lackluster; you feel like you are bothering them. Out of large cups, cappuccino machine was "down" not "broken" (not sure what that means. And again, service e acts as if it's your problem. Muffin was pretty good and the other food items look nice.
