The last couple of times I've visited the PJ's on the Westbank Exp in Marrero, the granita was not available. This is my primary drink and very disappointing đŸ˜«đŸ˜’

Hasn't really changed in 35/40 yrs.
Visiting brought back a lot of great memories. Esp the back patio!

The oldest PJ's in the world, it is so quaint and comfortable. Everyone working there is cheerful and helpful.

PJS is one of my favorite coffeeshop ever but recently the staff changed a lot and all my orders were done poorly. My matcha was brown and tasted like coffee. A few times in a row. I think they're not gleaning the thing each time. That's too bad because this PJs had a nice outdoor! Train your staff better :(

We stopped here mid morning about 10:30 on a Saturday week before Thanksgiving. It was moderately busy; but we were able to sit and our coffees were ready quickly.
Staff was friendly and the shop looked clean. We got a frappacino and two double espresso.
Thanks!

Absolutely the worst Pjs. The “manager” is the rudest person you could possibly meet in the morning. Doesn’t wanna do his job, can’t make a good coffee and can’t control his attitude to even be able to be a manager in the first place. Do better PJs.

I'm not usually about chain coffee places, but I LOVE this location. The staff are all super friendly and even helped me make up a drink (the ? covered ? granita, one pump tart cherry, one pump ? and whip cream)! Plus the back patio is a great spot to chill!

Charges $4.50 for an iced Americano instead of $3.20 for a triple expresso over ice like they do at Maple and Mandeville stores - (the same drink) guess I will stick to the cheaper stores.

I think this might have been the worst coffee shop experience I have ever had. So much so that this is the first coffee shop I haven’t tipped at. The manager should consider firing the man with the receding hairline and overalls. From the first sentence I spoke to him I felt like an annoyance. I asked if they had white mocha and he rolled his eyes. Then my friend wanted to pay for me but we both put our cards out. He said “I’m not playing that game, I just need a card.” I cannot imagine seeing a kind interaction and then deciding to bring both individuals down. I have actually been a barista before, and no matter what type of day I was having, I have never treated any customer like that. To put it plainly, that is a mean-spirited man. My friend asked him, “Are you having a good day?” And he said “No?”Also, the food is straight from Costco and the red haired barista deserves a raise. She should not have to split any tips with the bald old man. You’re at least 50, control your emotions.I can only speak on the Pjs on magazine st. If you are looking for coffee on magazine, the caramel latte at undergrowth is so good! Plus the barista and atmosphere was an absolute gem!!
