Very basic. Had to come here and review just so the rating is closer to where it should be: 3.5/4 stars max. I judge cafes by their lattes and sadly mine was watery and piping hot. That’s just not how you serve a latte. That said, the service is really good — they were kind enough to remake my latte with zero attitude. I loved that. The egg, ham and cheese croissant was also basic; it didn’t look or taste fresh.

Great shop! The gentleman were very kind and answered my questions. I like more bitter coffee, so I asked if their lattes were more sweet or not, they answered with more bitter. I told them perfect and when making it they talked to go light on the Carmel knowing I wanted it on the bitter side.It was perfect, only smaller shop I’ve been too with that good of coffee. It was not burned and over roasted. I had to get another one right before I left and they made it asap!Thanks...

Literally the best coffee in NOLA, especially if you like it sweet! Staff are extremely friendly, they need a raise!! Live laugh love PJ coffee!!! Oh! And it’s so cheap for what it is!
