Dog friendly local coffee shop with a solid selection of brews at fair prices. The line can get backed up when busy as there is typically only one barista.

Ordered BEIGNET takeout that was BISCUITS disguised as BEIGNET. The smell upon entering the shop smelled like fried BEIGNET, but came from an oven. Didn't look like traditional BEIGNET or tasted like BEIGNET. Truly a biscuit 🍪

PJ's Coffee was a delightful and enjoyable experience! It's nothing like your standard stuffy coffee joint. Gourmet flavors of Southern Pecan, Praline Cream and Expresso Dulce were just 3 of the luscious flavors they had to sell. Unique great tasting coffee, sandwiches and more, but best part were the two joyful employees that served us. Kaylee and Andy were a pleasure to talk. The 2 lattes they made us were also amazing. Thank you both for a great experience!

I came for a coffee and to use the restroom. The baristas were pleasant and efficient, but that's about the best about this spot. The dark roast coffee was cold and they used the steam brother to heat the coffee up to a mildly warm temperature. The restroom was "out of order," but I heard the toilet flush when one of the baristas had to use the bathroom while I was sitting writing this review.
If I didn't have compassion for the employees, this location would get no stars. The staff is the only saving grace.v PJ's coffee has gone down it's own "out of order" toilet.

INDULGENT DRINKS AND SWEET TREATSPJ’s have been serving the community since 1978. I stopped into the Magazine Street Garden District location – one of many in the city – as it was the starting point for the Two Chicks Walking Tour, which I travelled to via the St Charles streetcar. Naturally, I had to partake of a libation while waiting and I chose a cold Caramel Velvet Cream which tasted as good as it sounds. While it was being made, I chatted with a few locals who raved about their food.
