Be weary if you sit inside the place it is very dark, but that's the dive feel you're getting. It's so dark though it was kinda hard to see and read the menus.
Also to eat outside we were told they don't actually serve the seats outside. So you would have to order at the bar and then bring your food outside? It didn't make total sense to me, but if you're looking to take advantage of the weather, it's something to think about!

Dark and loud, drinks in plastic cups but somehow very sympathetic bar, full of tourists. Locals take their drinks to go. You could easily make new friends, if you sit at the bar. Signature cocktail 'Monsoon' is not to be sneezed at. The barkeepers are ceartinly not stingy with the rum. But you could forgo the burger. Try other alternatives.

I anticipated a much better experience from the reviews. The burger was mediocre. The baked potato had imitation bacon. I didn’t know anyone did that anymore.
Great neighborhood bar with food. Berger, salad or baked potato and a beer for about 20 bucks. Lively with great fast service! Stop in!

My wife and I were looking for a quick burger and found this place. With a very limited menu, high burger prices and high reviews I assumed this food must be amazing... BUT IT WASN'T. It's nothing bad, but not good either. The burgers were UNseasoned and had no flavor. It's just a simple burger with exactly what you see on the menu and nothing more! The burger is just a plain sesame seed bun with UNSEASONED ground beef, plain raw onions, plain shredded cheese, a sliced tomato and lettuce, plain mushrooms, paired with an UNSEASONED baked potato for $17.50 (way overpriced in my opinion)!
If plain meat and potatoes is what you consider great food, than this is the place for you.
After eating I checked other reviews... We're not the only ones with the same sentiments.
Being that New Orleans is known for flavorful food, this place doesn't live up to that at all.
