I ate the whole potato! Skin & all..it was that delicious. They are known for their baked potatoes, burgers & their signature drink the Neptune's Monsoon. I got the baby version of the monsoon called the Windjammer. Can you say RUM? How about 2 kinds of rum in 1 drink? You can't taste the rum, but it will jump up and smack you right in the face, lol. The atmosphere is a vibe in itself. Just a hole in the wall with great people (customers & employees) & great food & drinks. Please check out Port of Call if you are ever in New Orleans ?

Met a local at the Carousel Bar in the Quarter. He recommended Port of Call as having the best burger in town as well as their infamous Monsoon cocktail. He was spot-on about the burger and the Monsoon is probably the best and tastiest way to pop your skull in NOLO. The place is not fancy just the perfect blend of neighborhood sports bar and dive. Out door seating is available on picnic tables with shade umbrellas, again nothing fancy just a convenient option especially for smokers. The menu is full of options besides burgers. The steaks I saw looked awesome and everyone was pleased with their meals. Sit at the bar for the ultimate experience. Great food, booze and televised sports. Take an Uber with a Monsoon in a to-go cup, you will not remember the ride home!

We were seated fairly quick, must have all of your party there to be seated. Orders were taken and food came out fast. Burgers were cooked as ordered. Baked potato was hot and tasty. Definitely a great place to eat at.

Food was delicious as always been coming here for 20 years. However our server was terrible. It was a Saturday night(Jazzfest weekend). We were seated after a 50 minute wait. We went ahead and ordered drinks. We were wating on 2 friend's to meet us they were running a little late. Well the waitress comes to our table and says. We can no longer hold your table unless you order food. So instead of getting back on the list and being removed from the table. We were forced to order for our two friends who weren't at the reastruant yet.. It was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had from a service standpoint. Then we weren't even finshed our meal and she brought our check. They were trying to rush us out of there so they could get as many guest in the restaurant as possible. It was such a joke. We will not be coming back to this restaurant anytime soon.
