Went for lunch. It's basically a dive bar so I wasn't expecting much. The food was just ok I guess. Got pulled pork which was lukewarm at best and coleslaw because that's basically all they had available. They were out of several items on the menu otherwise maybe something might have been a winner. If you're coming here to drink the food will probably be passable for you but not for me. I wouldn't return again. Sorry š

Worst service I ever experienced. The bartender Nicholas was inattentive and rude. It was not busy, yet he still messed up our order and WAY overcharged us (I've since seen overcharging come up in other reviews, too). I never felt so unwelcome in my life. With so many places in this city, do yourself a favor and avoid this one. As for me, I will not be back and I will happily spend my money elsewhere.

Danger. Violent staff. My wife and I went to the Pour House after walking the French Quarter to get a final drink and call an Uber. When I complained about being overcharged for one drink ($35) the bouncer immediately got in my face, backed me up to the street curb, slapped said $35 drink onto my pants and ground. When I asked him how that made anything better he got an inch from my nose and said ā what are you going to do about itā over and over again. Then the manager joined in but instead of correcting the needless escalation he just kept saying ā what do you expect. Get in your uber and leaveā. Which I eventually did because a violent situation was about to become even worse for my wife and I. We have reached out to ownership about this incident but it doesnāt seem to be a priority for them. For safety sake I would avoid this toxic establishment.

From out of town Made a reservation When we arrived the bartender looked at us but never came to our table We finally got served by a very nice red haired server The food was great but the language comming out of the first bartenders mouth was offensive to me and my wife !! Not a good look for people like us from out of town Food was fantastic but your bartender could use a little lesson on customer service

I visited this bar a few weeks ago and had a great timeā the food, vibes were amazing. Last night, however, was a completely different experience. There werenāt any seats at the bar, so we decided to wait a bit to see if anyone leaves. A customer at the bar was giving one of my friends dirty looks, which was odd. The same bartender who served us before (without checking IDs) now asked for them, which was fine since weāre all 21+. But then went and got the manager, who also checked our IDs. She returned our friendās Louisiana ID but seemed skeptical of my boyfriend and Iās Florida IDs. Out of nowhere, she told us we needed to pay $5 each to āprove our IDs are real.ā This felt unnecessary and shady. Itās frustrating, especially since this bar is just five minutes from our apartment.

The waitress was very rude and charged us for food that we didnt eat. When confronted, she disrespected our whole table and called out security on us. It was a really bad experience. Please dont go there as the team is very wrong and disrespectful.

Never acknowledged us. So we seated ourself. There were only 6 customer total in the establishment. Seated ourselves and were there for probably 10 minutes. Not one person came to take our orders or acknowledge us. Hire new people.
