Was super excited to try this place. I ordered 2 sandwiches via online for delivery. An 1hr later I received a call asking if my order was delivered. It was not, so they advised a new order would be made. 20min past the order was cancelled. When I called the store the employee said he was closing up 1 hour early & to follow up in the morning…guess I’m out $30 & dinner.

The Abruzzi is good. But for a place from Philly, the cheese steaks are sub par. Plus, the place closed down due to a change in franchisee, then reopened within 2 weeks, but didn't bring all of the employees back. I won't eat at a place this disrespectful to its workers who lost jobs through no fault of their own. Go to Francolinnis for good meatball or Italian hoagies, or Yinzers or Trilly for a good cheesesteak.

I grew up in the Greater Philadelphia area, this is just like home. The Italian hoagies and chicken cutlet sandwiches are top notch.

Best hoagie. There's way too much in NO to eat to go back but if I lived near one I would go all the time.

Place is crazy expensive for sub par food. Got a Philly cheesteak and it was amazingly cold. The meat was barely warm. I'm surprised the cheese melted. It is a lot of sandwich but still pricey

I love these sandwiches. I order them frequently on UberEATS. The last 4 times my sandwich has been wrong. I don’t select onions, i even put in the notes no onions and they keep adding them. I thought i was losing my mind and getting pranked. I called and they were very nice and offered a free pasta salad which i politely declined. Just now i ordered and called to make sure no onions would be put on my sandwich. There was no option to get chips on the app for some reason. I asked if they could add it and i pay the difference. They said they can’t add to the order on the app, so i asked if they could just comp a bag of chips considering how many times they’ve messed up my sandwich and the guy said no he couldn’t do that. THE SANDWICHES ARE ALMOST $20!!!! I frequently order and y’all constantly mess up my food and you can comp a damn bag of 99 cent chips!? I’m done. That price for getting meals constantly screwed up…and then bad customer service from whoever i just talked to?! Nah I’m good. Go get a sandwich elsewhere.

I was drunk and hungry at the start of Midsummer Mardi Gras, so I popped in here.

My sandwich was sooooooo DELICIOUS!

The tragedy is that I only ate half and the other half was poached by one of our drunk friends.

Investigation into this crime has yet to commence by the NOPD!

Never trust drunks!

UPDATE: my boyfriend said he thinks he threw my half sandwich away. So still: NEVER TRUST DRUNKS!

I really want to like this place, but their bread is always rock hard, to the point that my jaw hurts after taking a bit.

By far the worst Philly cheesesteak sandwich I have ever encountered. No peppers, no onions, just dry bland roast beef on a tough sesame seed bun. I thought it must have been a mistake, so I took it back and was told that that is the way the sandwich comes. I feel sorry for anyone who eats at this franchise and thinks the food is authentic or good.

Don't order anything hot. They are incapable of heating up a sandwich. I thought the cold chicken cutlet was a fluke, but nope. My Philly cheese steak, a $36 sandwich is refrigerator cold. Cheese is not melted, no sauce, forgot my peppers, and there's like....3 scraps of onion on a 21" sandwich. Their sides are great, and their cold sandwiches are good, but they 100% fail at warming up food and are going to kill someone serving food in the danger zone. It's a shame, I'd eat here every week if they could at least use a microwave! ? it's pathetic

Ordered over the phone staff seemed confused about the menu but seemed to figure it out. Got there to pick up my order and they were out of what I ordered they had my phone # and name didn't think to call they were not busy so no reason they could not have called. Also no apology just said you want roast beef instead. Will never come back and will spread the word on the type of service this place provides.
